Wall Hanging - Letters
Hello and welcome to our "letters-week", here's Caro with a wall hanging.
I have used 3 of the 2'' Alphas, sponged and embossed 2 of them and used one as a mask. I have to admit that I was inspired by another great stamper as I simply love the look of the embossed and the one "naked" letter. ... this wall hanging will be one of the first things I'll hang up when redecorating my house :)

Product Focus Blog Hop - Tando Mini's
Time for another Product Focus blog hop lovely people :o)
As the title suggests we will be picking a product from our range and many of our fabulous design team members have created stunning projects using these products.
We are focussing on TANDO MINI'S this month and we now have quite a range!!
What's more...if you leave a comment on every blog in the hop you will be entered into our prize draw to win some of these MINI'S. The draw will take place on Sunday :o)
From here please pop over and visit KAZ and from there follow on to the rest of the team taking part.
In case you get lost here is a list of the fabulous blogs taking part:
KAZ > CAROL > CARO > DANA > GEZ
Our minis are incredibly versatile, they are cut from a lighter weight board and are ideal for using on cards, atc's, in fact many of your small projects. Of course they are also ideal as little accents on your larger projects.
Although thinner they are still able to take many of the treatments that our thicker board can take so painting, heating, stamping, embossing are no problem :o)
I won't put photos of them here but you can find the full range on our website HERE.

Back to Basics with Gez!
This week some of the Design Team have been going back to basics and
using basic shapes on their creations.
Tando Creative have a lovely selection of basic shapes from hearts and stars to arrows and everything in between suitable for scrapbook layouts, cards. Atc's, canvasses and just about anything alterable you can think of.. click on the link HERE to view and also HERE for a list of stockists.
I've made an art journal page which I think I might just mount onto a canvas. I had great fun inking and stamping and have used a couple of chipboard stars from the Grab Bag of Stars to decorate my lady..
The chipboard stars were inked with Cosmic Shimmer sprays.
Thank you for calling today. I hope you have seen lots of lovely creations this week that have inspired you to get creative.

Festive circle!
I reached for one of the simplest of the basic shapes for our "Back to Basics" theme this week - the circles grab bag. The realy sturdy board makes these perfect for stand alone items like this Christmas decoration.
I've added the year so this could be a little commemmorative gift for somebody celebrating a significant Christmas (first in a new home or as a married couple, for example). I cut the numbers in shrink plastic with an Alterations strip die but I must say I'm not sure I'd recommend doing this - the ejection foam doesn't work to pop the shapes out and they took quite a bit of removing from the die. I might stamp numbers on the plastic and then hand cut them if I wanted to do this in future.
I'm a cheapskate so I used lightweight filler (DIY type) with my sequin waste stencil rather than proper modelling paste. It worked fine and I used metal leaf to cover the textured circle once it was dry.
Tando products used: circles grab bag, leaves minis, sequin waste mask.
Thanks for stopping by!

Sew creative imperfection
Hello, my dear Tando friends! Irit is here and this is our Back to Basics week . So I made a tag, but it's really a wall hanging. Pretty much big tag made of Tando spool shape (not my first one, I just love them!) and full of all possible crafty goodies. I also used Tando letters on this tag for the word SEW- as is. No paints, colours or powders. I love it this way on this vintage piece of art.
And I finally used a lot of Tando buttons from the grab bag and those are my Basic shapes for this project.
I painted those buttons with a thick layer of paint and then added some clear embossing powder to get the texture you can see here. I used a biggest round button as a base for a part of my title after I stamped some small text stamp over it and layered all other small buttons over it.
Hope you like my project for our Back to Basics week! See you again soon!

Back to Basics - 7 years old
I love the grab bags with their mix of different shapes on a theme...and the stars are one of my favourites, I could quite happily fit several of them on any page or project. For this page I decided to paint them; I started by covering them in white acrylic and once dry added a thick layer of yellow acrylic. Whilst the yellow paint was still wet I sprinkled on some fine clear glitter just to add a little sparkle to the proceedings as it is a birthday page. The stars help frame my photo and I stuck them around the edge of my stitched circle.
The photo is obviously a 7th birthday one - I'm not sure how the reflection of the candles got picked up in his hair but I really like it.

Things That Fly Beauty Page
As we've been concentrating on things that fly I made this journal page:
I've used a base of acrylic paints and used the ~{Haunted House Mask}~ which comes in 3 pieces. This means you can colour the house shape and then add the windows and bats or colour around the house. I've doodled on the house for detail and then sat it on a washi tape base.
I've cut the wings from the ~{Mini Bats Grab Bag}~ and coloured them with acrylic paints before stamping onto them. These have been attached behind the figures and I've added doodling and shading as well as a quote that fits.

Things That Fly - Bat Ring
Hi Tando fans! Dana here today sharing a fun piece of jewelry for the Things That Fly theme this week. Halloween only comes around once a year, so I wanted to use this little bat, which is part of the Mixed Halloween Mini Set, before the end of the month. I covered the bat with several coats of embossing powder, added some pearl eyes, and attached him to the center of this store-bought ring. This bat is cut from Tando's high quality grey board so I know I don't have to worry about this bat bending or breaking.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Flying altered CD
Hi, it's Caro here. Today I have an altered CD for you where I used some of the mini birds. Oh I love the tando minis you can use there everywhere and the birds are so cute!!
I have taken an old CD, took an old credit card and smeared gesso on the CD - you can create some patterns with this technique! When the gesso was dry I used AAIs to color it. The birds are colored with Distress Stains.
This is the first side of the CD
And this is the second side

Simply love to fly and to Dream Big
Hello, my dear crafting friends! Irit is here again and this time I am going to show you 2 projects made with our weekly theme and the most versatile Tando products.
My first project for today is an Altered canvas, 15*15 cm size made with Tando mask, molding paste and lots of painting and coloring mediums. I used mists, shimmery paints, regular acrylic paint and.... don't even remember what else. The result is very shiny . I also used Prima mistable canvas and Inspired by Stamping " Dream Big" stamp.
My second project is this small arch and I used another Tando mask with molding paste on this piece. Not too much of Tando, but the final project is lovely.Other products used here are The Rubber Cafe stamps, lots of coloring mediums, embossing powders, Sizzix and CLD dies , some washi tape and Tim Holtz word sticker I am in love with.
Hope I inspired you to fly and to dream this week. See you again next week.

Things that Fly - Conquering Everest
Hello - it is a grand claim...but Everest is the name of the roller coaster ride from the Animal Kingdom - complete with yetti projections and a track that rolls over so it changes your route!
I wanted to use the gorgeous hot air balloons and clouds and kept them a central part of my page. I used one of the clouds as a template and drew around it, and then used my craft knife to make a stencil and stenciled some white gesso clouds on my paper 1st. I then die cut lots of clouds to add to these. The chipboard clouds I covered in acrylic paint and used my brush to make them look fluffy. I embossed the hot air balloon with the swiss dots embossing folder, and then I sprayer it with peacock blue cosmic shimmer. I added 5 strips of string and a button to the top of the balloon to finish it off.

Halloween Arch
This week we are concentrating on Halloween and I made this arch:
The base is one layer from the ~{Triple Arch Layer Frame}~ painted in acrylic paint. It's not easy to see, but I've stamped a text stamp over it and used oil pastels to give it some depth. I've used the ~{Mixed Pack of Halloween Mini's}~ and used acrylic paints and oil pastels again and added some shading with watercolour crayons.
The base card is a smooshed sheet using DI's and then the ~{Cobweb Mask}~. I've then splatted lots of ink over the base to make a mess. I used the leftover card behind the skull's eyes and pumpkins. The cobweb has Glossy Accents on it and I printed out the text from the computer.

Spooky Halloween - Wicked Layout
Hi Tando fans! Dana here today sharing a layout. The theme this week is Spooky Halloween and I had a lot of fun putting this layout together. My daughter was a witch last year for Halloween and I think she has a pretty good spooky face.
This Large Cobweb paired so well with my background paper. I colored it with Glimmer Glaze and Distress Ink. I couldn't resist adding a spider!
A piece of Scalloped Bunting was the perfect base for my title. I first colored the chipboard with Distress Ink and then added Crackle Paint, puffy paint and charms. I know I've said this before, but I love the thickness and strength of Tando chipboard. I applied three different wet mediums and several embellishments to this piece of chipboard and it didn't bend or peel!
Thanks for stopping by today! You can see what this chipboard looked like before I started my project below.

Batty For You!
Hi, Gez here, OOooh... there's plenty of spooky goings on this week as the Design Team aim to thrill you with their spooky creations!
I think I'm a bit of a whimp when it comes to spooky but here is my arch!
I used one of Tando's gorgeous Gothic Arches and applied a generous coating of white Gesso and lots of Dylusions spray inks... no bending or warping at all.. The background images were stamped directly onto the arch using black Archival permanent ink.. the ghost and the bat were stamped onto cardstock, cut out and added to my little scene!
