SEPTEMBER COLOUR WEEK...

Today we are starting our September colour week and as with all colour weeks the first job is to announce the previous months winner of the fab Tando goodies…. so, for August the lucky winner is:-

Congratulations Karen, please contact Di with your prize choices.

A big Thank You to those that took part this month we really appreciate your entries.

So, here are the colours for Septembers colour theme:-

great colour palette isn't it?

Here is my piece:-

My base is from the large straight edged arches pack - instead of using the outers and making a niche, I have used one outer and three inners….these were painted with acrylic paint and left to dry….the outer edge was left, the top was stencilled with the long flourish stencil and the sequin waste stencil.  Various mini flowers, mini leaves 3, butterflies and mini owl 2 were painted with the same paint, hi-lighted and adhered to the base.

Pop back during the week for some more colour pieces.

Don't forget you can always join us with our continuous challenge located at the tab at the top of the page.  Its easy to join in and you could win some fantastic prizes.

Happy Sunday Tando fans

I am delighted to share my little offering for the banners challenge this week. I hope you can join in the fun and link up at the top of the page for your chance to win a bag of Tando goodies ♥

I have created a hanging pendant using one of the (74mmx138mm) {Mixed Media Boards}

Mixed Media Boards 74mm x 138mm

and the small straight {Bunting}

Bunting Small Straight

 Both the mixed media boards and the bunting don't mind wet media or heat so it was time to have some fun..

I used the gorgeous Andy Skinner stencil {Hippy Chick}
to add some details to the background..

Banners with Irit

 Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my Banners week. This time I made a card- but it's a totally Mixed Media one, made with my own mono print background cardstock and then stamped over  and Tando banners are the only embellishment over this art piece.
I stamped over them too and heat embossed the stamped words and inked them around.

Banner Week - Canvas

Hi folks,

for this weeks project I felt the need to go bright and bold with one of my favourite characters, The Mad Hatter...........

If you can't quite read the quote........

"Trust me. I know a thing or two about liking people, and in time, after much chocolate and cream cake, 'like' turns into 'what was his name again?'" (Mad Hatter/Lewis Carroll)

Here is what I used........

Bunting Large Scalloped

Mini Mask - Distressed Diamond

Distorted Harlequin Mask

The Mad Hatter stamp is from The Octopode Factory, the bunting stamp was loose in my stash. The paints used are Decoart Media Fluid Acrylics.

If you fancy playing along with any of our themes this month please check out the link at the top of the page. Any makes shared will be entered in the monthly draw and be in with a chance of winning some gorgeous Tando goodies.

Many thanks for popping by today,

Hugs

Another Banner!

Helloooo!  Karen here with another banner for you!  I have used the 'Scalloped Banner Singles' for my project and added stamped butterflies to it.

Each pennant has 2 sections.  The bottom section was decorated by spraying some DecoArt Media Mist  (orange & purple) through the 'Diamond Circle' mask.  The top sections was painted and left plain.  I sprayed some white card using the above sprays before stamping & cutting out the butterflies.

Hi Gez here, delighted to be sharing my creation with you today for the 'Anything Goes' theme. I hope you can join in the fun! The Design Team have been sharing lots of gorgeous inspiration this week and I am thrilled to add mine to the fun!

I started out coating {Mums Kitchen Wall Hanging} kit with black Gesso.

Then I painted one of the birds black from the {Mini pack of Birds and Branches}

along with a couple of {Mini arrows} as I thought they looks quite swirly!! ;-)

'Fly Away'

Hello crafty peeps, it's Lisa here and it's my turn today to show you what I have created for this weeks 'Anything Goes' theme. I've called this creation Fly Away and I've used one of the Tando Mini Printer Trays (152mm x 152mm with cover) along with many other Tando yummy products.

Here is the front of my Printer Tray.

I first assembled the tray then painted everything with white gesso, then gave it a coat of scrummy chocolate brown and sprayed loads of water to give a vintagey look.

I used a die cut to cut the oval frame shape and layered lots of embellishments. I used the grab bag arrows, mini keys, grab bag hearts, buttons grab bag and the bug set 1 - small along with some other bit and pieces from my stash.

On the inside of the tray, I used some pattern paper for the background then decorated with more wonderful Tando embellishments.

I used some of the embellishments I used on the front and added one of the butterflies from the butterfly grab bag and a bird from the grab bag mini birds. I also used some metal embellishments and played with different techniques to decorate. I painted some with acrylic paint and heat embossed some of them with copper and clear embossing powder. I also filled a couple of the rectangles with crackle paint.

Here are all the Tando products I used which are available on the Tando Website.

NYC that never sleeps

 Hello my dear crafty friends!
Today I am going to share my eternal love aka Tando Printer's trays.
So as you can see this is a tray with a cover and I made it as my NYC love piece.
There are a few places around the world that you can love or hate.  New York is such a place for most of us. Some are just fascinated by this huge never ending city; some, like my husband, visited it a couple of times and would never come back. For me New York is the whole world! I love this city and I am in love with it. I can come back twice a year and still find new places to visit, new food to try or new shops with unbelievable sales. I love the streets, the smell and the lights of this unique city. So making New York deco was a great fun.
Others than the tray Tando products were used here too:
The scalloped frame on the cover and the Grid rectangle background in the  right inside of the cover.
I used PHP  themed papers and stickers and made a few die cuts to add to my deco piece.

Anthing Goes - One Heck of a Good Time Layout

Hi Tando fans! Dana here today sharing a fun Summer layout for the Anything Goes theme this week. I recently took a vacation to my family lake house. My brother and sister also brought their families. It is not often that we can all get together. We took these photos of the kids on top of their new toy, a go-kart supplied by Grandpa. The older kids had a blast driving up and down the beach! Once the excitement died down, we were able to bribe them with ice cream to pose for a couple of pictures!

I built up layers of patterned paper and a journaling tag to form a colorful photo mat for my larger picture. I then adhered it on top of a medium-sized clock, from the 3 Clocks in 1 Set, that I stained with black mist.

I selected some stars from the Grab Bag of Mini Stars and colored them with red ink and glued them around the page for some bright accents.

You can find this chipboard and more in the Tando Creative Retail Store! We'd love to have you join the Anything Goes Challenge! To be in with a chance of winning some great Tando goodies of your choice, please make a piece based on our weekly themes and link your project, not just your blog, using the inlinkz tool located at the top of the Tando Blog. You don't have to use any Tando product, but, if you do, you will be entered into the draw twice! There are no limits to how many times you enter, however, we do request that you only enter your piece for 5 challenges. We look forward to seeing your creations!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Anything Goes........

Helloooooooooo,

I have a wall hanging for you today made from an upturned insert from the arabian style layered arch .....

Lots of fun to make and build up. I have put the top two pictures up as the flash shows stenciling and gloss better in the first picture and the non-flash picture picks up the crackle nicely.

Here is what I used.....

Tall Leaves - set of 4

A Skinner Stencil/Mask - Sunburst
