Hello, Karen here with todays take on the recipe this week....
1 embossing folder, 2 ribbons and 3 gems.
I have taken a guitar from the MUSIC PACK and added it to a card.
The background is watercolour paper which has been coffee stained and stamped, then embossed (sorry its hard to see the texture). The ELECTRIC GUITAR has been painted with *Transparent Yellow Iron Oxide* and *English Red Oxide* before having *Liquid Glass* spread over the top. I added 3 gold gems and some ribbon strips.
Thank you for looking today, take care, Karen x

Recipe Week - Sun and Moon ATC
Hi friends! Dana here today sharing my take on the Recipe Theme this week. I created this sun and moon ATC with 1 embossing folder, two ribbons and 3 gems. I embossed a White-Lined Artist Trading Card with a star embossing folder. I then added a splash of red/orange ink for a pop of color. I found a wonderful quote on Pinterest about the Sun and the Moon that reads:
Sometimes, I think of the sun and moon as lovers
who rarely meet, always chase, and almost always miss one another.
But once in a while, they do catch up, and they kiss,
and the world stares in awe of their eclipse.
My black and white ribbon symbolize the sun and moon orbits. The black and white sun and moon images are from the new Gecko Galz Sun, Moon and Stars Digital Collage Set.
I finished this card with some clear gems and some dimensional paint.
You can find the ATC that I used for this piece in the Tando Creative Retail Store! Thanks for stopping by today!

Recipe Week By Dee
Hi peeps I hope you are all well and enjoying the summer.
I have just come back from Cyrus and trust me it was
seriously hot.
I have been having quite a play with these lovely tags from
Tando and alongside that the chalk based Deco Art paints
loving these as well.
This challenge was 1 embossing folder well when I get
my machine out I tend to do loads at once and keep a
stash so I can just go to them is I need embossed card.
The one I used was a Tim holtz one which I ripped
and adhered to the tag once it had been painted.
To paint the tag I used Deco art chalk based paint
sanded it back and you have a lovely smooth base
to stamp on, the script stamp in the background.
I also stamped some large Tim Holtz numbers in the
background in paint and sanded them back for a
shabby feel I think they are lost in the photo's.
I used the crackle paint in places to give area's of
intrest and some more texture. My fav indigo Blue
stamp the compass. I am not sure who made the clock
stamp but each of these house the gems along with
Some printed tissue paper.
My 2 ribbons are tied at the top to complete the
challenge I hope you have enjoyed my take
on this weeks theme.
Cheers Dee x

Under the Sea and a new Facebook Group
A rare crafting moment for me and I'm thrilled to be posting on the Tando blog for the first time in ages.
For my Under the Sea theme I used the new BULLRUSHES chippie and the fish from the BOAT HANGING kit. Everything has been mounted up onto an MDF circle, these occasionally appear in the shop as they are generally just the unwanted part of another project so keep your eyes peeled for them :)
I first embossed a piece of card and glued this roughly to the middle of the circle, tear the edges of the card so you don't get an obvious join mark. I then took some raffia lace and some tiny beads and randomly glued them around the circle, I then added CRACKLE PASTE liberally in a few areas.
Once dry I painted the whole piece with FLUID ACRYLICS, a mixture of Pthalo Turquoise mixed with TINTING BASE. I then added some shading with Prussian Blue Hue and unmixed Pthalo Turquoise.
I then got out a variety of METALLIC LUSTRES, I used a combination of Lavish Green, Orange Flicker and Copper Kettle, just gently picking up the texture until I was happy with the look.
The Bullrushes were run through and embossing folder and then painted with washes of Turquoise and Green Gold and I touched up the texture with the Silver Metallic Lustre. I then glued them down and covered the base with some corregated card, this again was painted in the Turquoise and Prussian blue hue before finally touching up with the metallic lustres.
I gessoed the fish and created some texture on it, then it was painted with a mixture of orange and tinting base and also gave it a little shimmer with the lustres.

Under the Sea Card
Hi friends! Dana here today sharing the card I created for the Under the Sea theme this week. I absolutely love the fish from the Boat Hanging. I covered the fish with a layer of bright orange embossing powder and attached him to a simple shaker card.

Under The Sea Card
This week we are going under the sea. I made this quick and easy card:
I painted 3 fish from the -{Mini Fish}- pack with gesso then, when dry, I used pens to colour them. I've added some doodles and that was it. Really easy colouring!
I've added a stamped background and a computer generated greeting.

City Tag!
What a treat this week to work with the beautiful long tags and gorgeous NEW to Tando, Stampendous stamps.
I painted a background using acrylic paints onto one of the [Long Tags]
The tag was also sprayed with a clear texture spray to add some interest. Then simply stamped with a gorgeous cityscape stamp from Stampendous coming soon to Tando.
I was going to add the sentiment, Find joy in the journey, but I really didn't want to cover up any of the stamp details.
I've been doing a lot of travelling since the start of the year and one of the lovely distractions is to look at all the beautiful architecture even in cities beauty can be found :)
This stamp is just GORGEOUS ♥

Anything goes by Dee
Hi folks Dee here today with my anything goes I have that
lovely Tando chip board circle again this time
coloured with a mix of inks and deco art
media misters.
I also have used their new decorative hinges, stampendous
embossing powder & Neil Walkers mask.
One of the best features of Tando products for me is
their ability to stand up to any medium and
maintain their shape.
The middle olive green is created by using lindy's stamp
gang mica powders.
Sequins are a good way to add texture to a project as they
provide a bit of bling and change colour beautiful
with different mediums.
The dragon fly is done by triple embossing using Stampendous
embossing powders and an Artistic Stamper dragon
fly stamp.
embossing powders and an Artistic Stamper dragon
fly stamp.
A close up.
The decorative hinge was painted with black acrylic paint and silver
chunky embossing powder not fully melted so it stays rough.
I hope you have all enjoyed my project and feel inspired
to experiment with different mediums.
Thats all for today folks !
Cheers Dee x

Steampunk ATC with Irit
Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here and this is my take for our usual Anything goes week with Tando.
This time I made a couple of Steampunk ATC CARDS and this was my very first time to use those best ever Tando Artist Trading Cards chipboard blanks.
As you can see both pieces are totally Tando, all but Mediums that are DecoArt Mixed Media line.
The scull ATC was made with Tando Scullduggery mask and Modeling paste and then, when dry, covered with layers of paints and glazes. On the top I added Cobweb mini mask in the same technique. The blue paint splashes are made with Andy Skinner background stamp with acrylic paint from Stampendous Toxic stamp set. Then I added Tando screw pieces from the grab bag.
The right ATC piece was made with Cogs mini mask in the same way as the first one. But this time I added 3 different chipboard pieces over this card.
The sentiments are from Tim Holtz and just fit the cards in this " out of the blue" way.
Tando products used:
ATC
Grab bag of Screws
Minis Mixed Halloween
Sculldaggery mask
Mini mask Cogs
Mini mask Cobweb
Toxic stamp set
Decoart media line

Father's Day Card
For this week's Anything Goes, I've been playing with some of the #Stampendous goodies that are now being stocked and made a Father's Day card:
I stamped one of the stamps from the -{Mish Mesh}- set onto the card blank then painted 2 hearts from the -{Hearts Grab Bag}- with acrylic paint.
I sprinkled the large heart with the Aged Copper Embossing Enamel from the -{Bronze Frantage Kit}- while the paint was still wet. I then used the heat gun to bubble up the paint and embossing powder.
I used another stamp from the Mish Mesh set with embossing ink and Aged Teal Embossing Enamel from the -{Teal Frantage Kit}- and heated it with the heat gun. The Frontage Kits give gorgeous effects with very little effort!
I finished off with the greeting.

Rainbow City Mixed Media Board
Hi friends! Dana here today sharing a mixed media board for the Anything Goes theme this week. I created this piece to honor the victims of the recent tragic mass shooting in Orlando. I hope that we can find a way to stop these senseless acts of violence.
I began by painting a Mixed Media Board with gesso and then a layer of Tattered Angels Pewter Glaze. I used the Stampendous Urban Scribble Rubber Stamp designed by Nathalie Kalbach with black archival ink to add the city scene to the board. I added some black thread and sentiment stickers that I distressed slightly with ink.
I topped this piece with a rainbow from the Rainbow and Elements Set. I used Stampendous Hot Neon Fragments to cover the chipboard and then sealed it with a layer of glaze.
You can find the chipboard that I used for this piece in the Tando Creative Retail Store! Thanks for stopping by today!

ANYTHING GOES - Rocking Horse
Hello everyone! I am back after a much needed break and raring to go again :-D Today sees the start of another 'Anything Goes' week and I am here to show you a *Rocking Horse* that I have made up. You get 2 in a pack and I used 2 packs of MDF ones (you get a choice of greyboard or MDF) and glued them together so that my Rocking Horse is free-standing.
After glueing them together I painted gel medium around the edges to make it easier to add the blue acrylic as sometimes you need several coats to cover them! The main body was painted in an off white then stamped with a crackle stamp. My 1st idea was to add bright flowers but I guess the mood wasn't there as I found myself making a leather saddle etc! A teensy flower button was added to the bridle.
I am liking this idea to make the animals free-standing so may have a go at the reindeers nearer Christmas :-D
Thank you for taking a look today, HUGS, Karen x

Use Spray Inks with Lisa
Hello!!! I hope the sun has been shining for you all.... Lisa here with my creation for this weeks theme - 'use spray inks'. I was so excited about this theme, another chance to get mucky paws!!!
Thanks for popping by,
hope to see you again soon,
Lisa xxx
Here is my creation...
I used the Tando 152mm x 152mm Printer Tray (with stand) but wanted to use it in a different way.
I added a layer of DecoArt Crackle Paint to the frame and left it to dry.
I took the gesso painted background board and arranged the Tando embellishments on top.
When I was happy with the placement, I adhered everything and added a selection of microbeads, seed beads and other shaped beads.
I painted the whole thing with DecoArt Media Colbalt Turquoise Hue Acrylic Paint and a layer of DecoArt Weathered Wood, then painted it with white gesso.
Then comes the fun part.... the sprays.
For this part I used DecoArt Media Misters and DecoArt Media Shimmer Misters. (Sooooo much FUN!!!) Although technically not ink.... they spray so....
When the Misters dried, I added DecoArt Titanium White and Carbon Black Antiquing Cream around the cogs to create shadows underneath.
I wanted the frame to be included but look different than just a frame around boxed areas. So I cut of section of the frame in areas to open the boxes up more in to one focus point. I then sprayed the frame with the selection of Misters.
To add a finishing touch and a bit of shimmer, I added touches of Gilding Wax over the raised areas.
I hope you like what I have done with the theme this week and if you would like some more inspiration and a toot at some more pics, pop over to my blog HERE.
Bits and Pieces I used...
152mm Printer Tray,
4 clocks small,
Rustic Stars,
Grab Bag - cogs,
Minis - arrows.
hope to see you again soon,
Lisa xxx

Spray Ink Tags with Dee
Hi everyone Dee here today with my
latest post over at Tando Creative.
I used the lovely new Tags from Tando.
They are very strong and take lots of
products without them buckling.
I used micro beads and old pieces of lace and beads
that were on my table. I mixed them up with
Tando chipboard pieces.
Once satisfied I then started to cover it all with white gesso
followed by Tattered Angels Spray inks.
This time I came away from gold and brass and used
silver Treasure Gold instead.
I have to be honest I find photoing Mica pieces really hard as it
is impossible to show of the iridescent colours
to their best advantage.
I resprayed it to this
Now not sure which one I liked the best.
Might have to cover it all over and start again.
Loving the richness of these ones.
Let me know what you guys think? I mean it
you are going to love these tags
that's all from today folks.
Cheers Dee x
