Paste

Hi, Caro is here and I'm starting the new week with a new theme: paste. So here's my project - I have used a wavy tag and parts of the random circles mask.

I hope you like my project and that you'll come take a look at the projects of the other dt members the rest of the week.

Wavy Bottom Arch

Tando Wavy Bottom Arch's come in pairs, this is the mate to the one I used the other day.

This time it the Tando Chipboard has been coloured with Viva Inca Gold and then stamped.   Cropadial punches the board easily for the eyelet.   Surprising sometimes how easy the chipboard is to cut or punch when you think just how much punishment it will take with paints and other mediums.

On my Soap box

If you know me you might well think that soap boxes are something I stand on while talking your ears off! (and maybe boring you rigid in the process) Not this one now all my cloths, bedding, towels and everything else it is possible to stuff in the machine is clean the box was ready for re-purposing.

So re-purpose it I did.   Some beautiful 12x12 that has been in the paper stroking box for years was used to cover it, rather like wrapping a present.

Next Sorted through my stash of Tando Chipboard.   selecting a wavy bottom arch, a key and lock plate and on the sides arch's within an arch.  All Tando coloured with Inca Gold either in gold or green.

Next some of the Tando was stamped and embossed with White EP.    A sheet of 12x12 Vellum cut into and part of the flower pattern stuck to the front of the box.   Another bird stamp added in Brilliance ink the design highlighted with clear gems.    Some white cotton lace stuck around the top of the box. DST run down sides and covered with gliding flakes.   Finally some pale green ribbon stretched over the back, the top ribbon has a glass bead threaded onto it, and a single piece of ribbon stretched over the front also with a glass bead.

Here are the sets I used

Yesterday was Arbor Day in America

Did you stay in yesterday morning and watch the wedding do you think they looked happy if a little amused by it all? Or perhaps for you it was an opportunity to get to the supermarket while it was quiet LOL.

In America yesterday it was Arbor day a national planting of trees.   The is something inspiring about a tree the timelessness they change with the seasons while remaining unchanging.   I like trees.

For this tag I have used Tando Wavy tag and the smaller of their Leaf Branch.   The tag has been coloured with Nick Bantock inks and then a Elusive Images tree stamped over the top.   The leaf Branch was placed on the tag and coloured to match the areas of the tag it would cover, the stamp was used on the tag when it was coloured.   Leaf Branch glued to tag.   Clarities flight of birds stamped top left but it is not clear in the picture.   The whole was then blasted with Glimmer Mist.

One of the nice things about Tando is that it comes in small packs easy to buy what you need without have stacks left over and those bits you might not use right away easy to store for when you do need them.   I used one of the tags from a pair and the smaller of the leaf branches.
