Small Dad word by Kaz.
Hello again, this time I've used the small Dad, which is about 7 cms across, to make a desktop calendar in the style of an easel card.
For the chipboard, I inked it up using Aegean Blue Versamagic Inkpad, then added an edge of Jumbo Java Versamagic using a cotton bud again. This is the way that suits me to get into all the little nooks and crannies and I use it the whole way around so that it is the same everywhere. I tend to use a few buds doing it, but I bought a HUGE box from the pound shop!!
Once the ink was dry, I added a thick layer of Crackle Accents and, after I'd dropped a button in it, I put it somewhere safe to dry!
Once that was done, I used Tea Dye Distress Ink to add colour to the cracks. All you need to do is wipe the excess off with a tissue so you see the full effect of the blue ink underneath.
I attached the word to the calendar using silicone glue so that I could get it nice and straight over the ribbon and fibre.
If you would like the instructions for the calendar itself, you will find it ~{here at Bubbly Scrumptious}~
This is the last project I will be doing before Christmas, so I shall wish you all a Very Merry One, and may your stockings be full of Tando goodies!!
