I made this card to show how I use certain inks on Tando products:
I've masked off part of the card and then used the new ~{Neil Walker Tangled Yarn Mask}~ with Distress Ink. I can see this mask being used over and over again!
I painted 2 leaves from the ~{Mini Leaves 2}~ pack with acrylic paint and then used Stazon ink with a text stamp. I like to use this ask the stamping is crisp and doesn't sink in.
I've taken a close up to show the centre of the flower as I've cut the head from one of the ~{Mini Keys}~ and painted it.
This card was made for my Nan as she was 98 yesterday!!!!

Beautiful card! It is classy, elegant, and happy at the same time. I like the HAPPY BIRTHDAY font as well.
ReplyDeleteI use many different types of ink, and Stazon is one of my favourites, it always gives a nice crisp image, does not smudge or dry out.
By the way, there are many things you can use as masks: try lace, a paper doily, little crocheted creations you get in op-shops (even torn :o) plastic or metal net/mesh... I get my craft in hardware store sometimes.
And I love the way you repeat this gorgeous sandy/mustardy yellow on your card.
Thanks for posting it :)
Belated birthday wishes for Nan - what a wonderful lady. This card is so beautiful and elegant x
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous. Clean and simple and elegant and striking. Best wishes for your nan - 98 is impressive! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm going to have to get that tangled yarn mask... I've loved the projects I've seen using it. It looks so versatile!
