Anything Goes - Bookcase/MDF Shelf

Hi there, its another week of 'Anything Goes' and I am kick starting it with another decorated little BOOKCASE.  This time I have kept it fairly plain...

I went with my favourite crackle effect on large pieces.....an underlayer of copper acrylic, when dry a layer of thin PVA then white acrylic while the glue is still wet.  This technique never fails me!  I added hearts to the outside ends so that it wasn't too plain...

The hearts are from a GRAB BAG.  I used an embossing folder to add interest before painting them copper...
