Anything Goes Week- Fiona Randall

Morning all Fiona here with this weeks theme- Anything Goes.
For my contribution this week I have used one of my Layered Tags produced by Tando.
As most of you know I love Butterflies so decided to use the butterfly layered tag from set 3.

The top tag layer was given a coat of DecoArt Media Tinting base to start. Collage Tissue paper was then applied to the left side and then stamping with black archival ink. The whole  tag  was then given a coat of clear Gesso. DecoArt Media modelling paste mixed with white gesso was the applied through the Tando Dots Stencil to the top and bottom of the tag on the left side only. Once dry I added white gesso to areas to fade out parts of the stamping. Washes of DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylic in Prussian Blue was then added. Drying between layers to build up depth of colour in areas. Washes of DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylic in Carbon Black was then added around the edges th shade and darken. Spatters were then added with DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylic in white. The Butterfly design which is cut into the centre of the tag was embossed with white embossing enamel as was the piece of Tando Diamond Grid. The main Butterfly focal point was stamped onto watercolour paper and coloured with washes of the Prussian blue fluid acrylic adding more concentrated colour to the centre to add depth. A piece of white cardstock was stamped with a text stamp and glued to the base tag. the top layer tag was then glued to the base tag and the edges given a coat of DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylic in Carbon Black. The diamond grid was then glued to the centre and the butterfly attached to finish.

I hope you have enjoyed this short tutorial. Please do stop by the rest of the week to see what the other Team members have in store for you.
