Good Morning Friends!
For my first ever blog post and project for Tando Creative's Design Team, I have made a circle themed greyboard tag. Circles are probably my favourite shape so I've got a few makes to share during the week on here, on the Tando's Creative Zone on Facebook and on Instagram using #tandocreative and @tando_creative. I've also made a speedy video for one of my makes which will be on TikTok later in the week and I'll add it to the Facebook page too.
For this tag I used a size 10 greyboard tag https://www.tando-creative.co.uk/TAGS120X60.html I love tags in general because I like to be able to complete a make in one sitting when I can and they are ideal for that. These tags from Tando are fantastic for taking paint, texture paste and ink so I've built up quite a collection!
The first thing I did was add some texture paste with a pallet knife using the rings stencil https://www.tando-creative.co.uk/STNCRINGS.html
Once the texture past had dried, I then glued some of the circle extra thins https://www.tando-creative.co.uk/XTHNSCRCLS.html
I then painted the whole thing with ground espresso distress paint and added some highlights with a watercolour metallic powder and some quinacridone gold paint.
While this was drying, I took some greyboard circles from the Grab Bag https://www.tando-creative.co.uk/GRBBGCIRCS.html and painted them in the same way as I had the tag. Then I added the watercolour metallic powder and quin gold paint using a stipple brush and my fingers.
I found some stamps in my stash with circle images - I'm addicted to any circle stamp images so had quite a lot to choose from. I stamped them onto a plain dark brown piece of card with versamark ink and heat embossed the images with gold powder. Once I had cut them out, I arranged all the circles onto the tag, stuck them down with 3D matte gel then added a sentiment.
Gorgeous project, well done
