steampunk canvas
The current trend seems to be for that Steampunk feel to altered art and mixed media pieces and with the gorgeous cogs available I decided to try my hand at a steampunk inspired canvas....
the base was a canvas which was painted with acryllics and then using a Tim Holtz mask was hi-lighted using inka gold. The cogs were painted with crocco paint by viva decor....metal embellishments and an image from graphics 45 were added to finish off the piece...

A gorgeous piece and although the photography is fab, I have had the pleasure of seeing this IRL and it is much more gorgeous than the photo lets on xx
Nice work there Carol. Steampunk seems quite a difficult style, but you have carried it off really well.
