Hello, my dear Tando friends! Irit is here again and I want to show you my page made for our Fabric challenge. You still have 3 more days to enter the challenge, so go on! Great prizes to win!
And just a reminder: we have a DT call- you have to try if you want to be on our team! You never know what Tando are looking for. Just give it a try!
And now for my page: I can't help myself from scrapping my adorable grandson Omer and this is another page for his album.
Tando Creative Angel title was just so perfect for out little angel baby. I also added a pair of wings and then I finally used my chipboard buttons. 2 of them were covered with red fabric and hand cut around (not easy, but possible), 3 more were glittered.
And some close ups too
I also added a heart button over the wings.
I hope you like this page.
See you next month and we have some changes on our blog posts. Every week we are going to show you a specific theme or product or technique and we hope to inspire you a lot.
Irit

This and that with Tando
Just some projects with great Tando chipboards, not a lot of them, but they add the " punch line".
My first project is this vacation lo, and Tando compass was a great fit to this summery page.
This page is not a very new, but it was published in Scrapbooking.com June 2012 issue, so I can share it now, but not before.
Using a big Speech bubble spot for a sentiment on my card (I was out of mood to use my die cuts and was looking for a nice spot to stamp my sentiment)

Covered Ring Binder!
Hi my lovelies, this is for all you fabric fiends out there hahaha! The Challenge this month over at ~Tando Creative Challenges~ is to use FABRIC. You can do anything you like to be entered into the winners draw but if you use a piece of Tando as well you get entered twice. I have played with fabric & chipboard for a while now & got some good results. It makes an excellent base for fabric! For my piece I have used a teensy ring binder that Tando make, suppliers ~HERE~.
As you can see I did a bit of patchwork for the front & have the international size guide along side hahaha! The back....
The inside...
The fabric is all curtesy of ~The Craft Barn~, many thanks Sandy x. Not too sure what I am going to use it for, maybe farbic swatches or maybe my patchwork templates :D Here it is nekked, you can see that it also comes with inserts for you to decorate!
Thank you for taking a look today, HUGS, Karen xxx

Guest Designer for The Craft Barn
Hi! A bit excited here as I can, at last, begin to show you what I have been doing the last few weeks :-D I was asked to be a guest designer for June for ~THE CRAFT BARN~ using TANDO CREATIVE PRODUCTS!!!!! I also felt very humbled as they have some incredible artists on their team! I shall be appearing once a week for this month only and my 1st post is today. The prompt was to use masks so I used Tando's clock mask to make a.......clock hahahahaha!!!!!
The Craft Barn stock most, if not all, of our products and they are often used by their design team so do pop over for a look. You can find more details about how I made the clock on my blog. HUGS, Karen x

******DESIGN TEAM CALL********
Design Team Call......we are looking for 2 new members to join our talented design team.
Find out all the details HERE
Thinking of Father's Day
I quite enjoy 'male' themed projects they do not seem to be such a problem to me that they are for many others. With Father's Day looming lots of male themed ideas around so had a little play.
Used a great favourite of mine the Tando cog mask, team this time with with Imagination Crafts sparkle paste. Careful masking allowed selection of where the cog and gear images would show. For fun some numbers from the Tando advent set have been coloured and are falling from the clock. You can find more details on my blog.

Timeless past wall hanger
This is my new altered Mixed Media piece: I used Tando Clock mask, Sequin waste mask and this huge fantastic Clock chipboard on this project.
I used this Clock mask three times: two were made with molding paste and heat embossing over the dry paste and the middle one was made with clear embossing ink and heat ebmossing after, same as the circle from the second mask on the middle piece.
The chipboard clock was covered with ink and lots of embossing powders all around.
This piece was a lot of work and the final result looks artistic .
I hope you think this too.
