Hi guys, Liz here today with my project for our anything goes theme,
I've decided to do the fabulous 3 Panel Wall Art - Trees,
Sorry for the picture, it was a hard to get a photograph in a correct light,
I wanted the wall panel to look like it had distance behind the tree, so used Prima Bloom spray paints from my stash in layers, darker at the base, a lighter middle range for a horizon effect and then a sky line effect higher up towards the top,!! I also have placed it in my bedroom so wanted softer colours too,
I began by adding scrunched up tissue paper to all the pieces, then when dry spraying with my paints in the said colour ranges, Antique Gold, Vintage Metal, Gold foil, Glistening waves and lime Wedge
closer views of each panel,
I used DecoArt texture sand paste on the tree branches, then coloured the tree branches with the Vintage metal and Antique Gold spray paints and highlighted them when dry with Inka Gold waxes in silver and Turquoise,
The flowers I painted in stamp paint copper, after first shaping slightly with my fingers to give depth,
The butterflies got the Inka Gold treatment in Turquoise and Silver too,
Join us in any of the themes this month, link your project to the link above,
Happy Crafting,
Hugs liz xx
