Blank Slate for the New Year

Happy New Year Tando fans! Dana here today sharing a magnetic chalkboard.  I started with The Secret Door Kit from the Works of Parts range. This kit is fabulous and contains a variety of sturdy chipboard pieces that can be put together in a whole host of different ways.

I first painted the large rectangular piece of chipboard with several light coats of magnetic paint.  Once I was happy with the strength of the magnetic hold, I added several coats of chalkboard paint. I love the idea of a blank slate for the new year!

I colored the parts of the kit with ink in vibrant colors.  I layered several of the pieces and added magnets to the back.  The pretty flowers and hearts will decorate my chalkboard when its not in use.

Time flies

Hello, my dear Tando friends and Happy Holidays to you all!

This is Tando Free week (as all of us are very busy  during this Holidays, we decided to showcase some of our " no theme" projects and this is my project for this week: Time flies altered triple arch.

I used this Tando arch with a lot of Visible Image stamps, Ranger mists and Wow Embossing powders and I  think those arches are just the best possible for any vintage style altered projects.
