Large picture magnet

Mums always deserve gifts at any time of year and after my own was poorly recently I made her this large picture to display on her fridge.  I used a sheet of 6" x 6" Tando chipboard as the base and covered it in acrylic paint and glitter (although unfortunately my photography doesn't show up the shiny glitter very well ) before adding the decoupaged image.

I cut a large piece from a magnetic sheet I had and glued it to the back of the bare chipboard and then I painted this beautiful piece to add to the top, also adding glitter before coating with diamond glaze and adding a teardrop gem.

As I didn't have the letters I needed I used the 'Mum' part from the Tando heart shown below and added it to the bottom of my piece.

It took a while but I think the result was worth it :D
hugs
Chris xx
