Frighten Me Spiders!

I have made this card which would definitely frighten my arachnophobe nieces!!

I've painted the spiders from the ~{Spider Grab Bag}~ with black acrylic paint and when dry, added Glossy Accents. When that was dry I added some highlights with Uni Posca pens.

I added 'BOO!' through the ~{Have Your Say Mask}~ and outlined the letters, finishing off with a Spiderweb stamp and some doodles.

Hopefully you managed to see past the spiders to the writing!!!

Happy Haunting

Hi everyone Monica here sharing my Mini Theater Stage I created a stacked photo frame by adhering one piece on top of the other.  I used some Graphic 45 papers to decorate the piece along with some ribbon from Craft-dee Bowz.  All you have to do is slide your image behind the fame.
Here I added some flowers because a project is just not a project with out flowers right?!!
This is the piece where you can add your individual picture from Halloween - all you do is slide it in the back of the frame.
I hope everyone enjoyed my post for today and thanks so much for stopping by.

Frighten Me again!

Hello, its frightening all this week with our Halloween themes and there are a lot to see!  For my piece I chose the  WITCH ON A BROOMSTICK to play with ;-D

I painted her up before adding lace for her dress and felt for her cloak.  Her hat & boots have been painted and glitter added.  Even a witch likes a bit of sparkle!  I used some rough string to make the bristles on her broom.  For the background I used a page from the SCALLOPED MINI BOOK, which I covered in Halloween paper.  Couldn't resist this quote to go with her haha!

Here she is naked...

and the book..

Thank you for popping by, take care out there, HUgs, Karen x

Frighten me with Irit

 Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here again and this is my Spooky project.
As we don't celebrate Halloween, I am not sure if it's really spooky, but I love this Tando chipboard collection a lot and with a mask, gold- yellow mist, black gesso and some embossing powders, this small craft piece looks fine to me.
What do you think? Does it FRIGHTEN you?
Just a bit?

Free For All - Layered Arch with Cobweb

Hi Tando fans! Dana here today sharing an Layered Arch with Cobweb that I created for the Free For All theme this week. I could have used the entire arch set to create a 4-layer arch, but decided to use only 2 layers and save the other pieces for a future project. I covered both layers of the arch with a coat of black acrylic paint. I dressed up the top layer of the arch with glitter glue, for some fun sparkle, and some white dimensional paint, for a more realistic looking cobweb.

I added a thick coat of glittery flock to this Spider.

Here is the same arch set designed with all 4 layers, created by Di. In addition to the pieces I used, she incorporated a tree from the Graveyard Set and added the bats to the background using the Haunted House Mask.

Thanks for stopping by today! You can now swing by the Tando Retail Store to pick up these pieces for yourself!

KNITTING NEEDLE BOX!

Helloooo!  I am such a sentimental person hahaha!  I have had my knitting needle box for 40 years and now it is falling apart :-(  If you want to see my now very sad looking box it will be at the end of my post!  Now I have a new one, especially cut for me by Tando Creative.  The chipboard is thick like mountboard so it will last me forever now!  I also asked Di to cut me out the words to go on the top.

Its just a bit longer than the longest needle and 6cm wide and deep...perfect!  I have painted it with PaperArtsy Fresco paints, layering them up with stamping and stencilling.  The flowers are stencilled through the *BIRD & BRANCH* mask using coloured texture paste.  The wording has also been painted with Fresco paint and then , along with the flowers, been glittered.  The base is plain amethyst.

Now you all want to see its predecessor don't you hahaha!  When I left school I worked in a Computer office of a local authority and this is what the printer ribbons came in!!!!  It was a whole different world back then wasn't it?

This is the mask I used...

I hope you like my new box and thank you for calling by, HUGS, Karen xxx

Free For All Christmas Tree Mini Book

For this week's Free For All I'm re-showing this ~{Christmas Tree Mini Book}~ as Di has said they are selling well at the shows she's been attending recently.

This was made back in 2010 and I used it to make a Christmas Cocktail Menu. The recipes are from ~{Whattodrink.com}~

I covered the pages with patterned papers and inked the edges, then punched holes using a crop-o-dile and tied ribbons through the ends.

I also tied the pages together themselves using ribbon. This enables the Mini Book to be stood up as a 3D centrepiece.

The ~{Seasons Greetings}~ is also by Tando and has been painted and covered with glossy accents.

As this is an older product, it's not found often in stores, but you can now buy it directly from the       ~{Tando Store}~.

Free for all for October with Irit

 Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here again and I made another Printer's tray. Again. And AGAIN.
I  just love them so much that I can't stop to make them.
So no real explanation here, but a lot of background and non background stamping, using Rubber Dance company stamps; Bookplate again. Help me- I am addicted to those chipboards!

 Some more cloes-ups here:
Leaves are colored with Gelatos and covered with Glossy Accents. They look real, don't they?

Free For All - 21st Birthday Card

Hi everyone!
Great projects so far for this Free For All week!

I needed to make a 21st birthday card and used a Tando Creative mask to create the background.

The mask is Trees and Leaves by Kaz Boughton, but as this is a 3 part mask I used the bit which would normally be used for apples or blossom!  I love the random spottiness of it and will probably use it quite a lot for backgrounds - I love spots.

Trees and Leaves mask
Its a bit blowy outside at the moment.  Not sure the trees in my garden will have any leaves left at all once it subsides!  Will probably end up looking like the tree in the above mask!

Have a great day x

Customer Makes: Advent Calendars by Nicola Tapsell.

It's always lovely to see what Tando customers make with the products and here are some Octagonal Christmas Advents that Nicola Tapsell has made for her Godchildren. The story behind them is lovely too. Her Godchildren are going to Eurodisney and they will contain Euros for spending money, so she has included money boxes as well.

How fabulous do they look together?

Thanks for sending us the pictures Nicola.
