Embossed Christmas ATC

Hi friends! Dana here today sharing an Artist Trading Card I created for the Embossing theme this week. I pressed an ATC in a checkered embossing folder for a fun textured base and then primed the card with a coat of DecoArt White Gesso. I then added color, with a distressed layer of DecoArt English Red Oxide Antiquing Cream and a layer of DecoArt Gold Interference for a subtle shimmer. I added a pop of bright green to the card by mixing Stampendous Hot Lime Fragments into DecoArt Matte Medium and spreading it on with a spatula. Before the medium dried I pressed in several gold sequins.

To embellish the top of the card, I painted a Mini Book Plate with DecoArt Carbon Black Fluid Acrylic, then backed the book plate with a scrap of green stripe ticking, and added the number "25," from the Arthur Number Set, which I painted with DecoArt Cadmium Red Fluid Acrylic and a top coat of DecoArt Liquid Glass. I added leaves, a flower, a pair of decorative brads, and a sticker sentiment to fill in the design. I finished this card with a dry brushing of DecoArt Titanium White Fluid Acrylic.

You can find the chipboard I used for this project, and a wonderful selection of DecoArt and Stampendous products, in the Tando Creative Retail Store.

Free for all for October with Irit

 Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here again and I made another Printer's tray. Again. And AGAIN.
I  just love them so much that I can't stop to make them.
So no real explanation here, but a lot of background and non background stamping, using Rubber Dance company stamps; Bookplate again. Help me- I am addicted to those chipboards!

 Some more cloes-ups here:
Leaves are colored with Gelatos and covered with Glossy Accents. They look real, don't they?

Autumn colors with Irit

 Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here today with my new Fall inspiration.
I love fall, also we don't have this real fall in Israel. We just have two seasons: summer and a very hot summer. But then I was born in Russia and there we  had all those falling leaves and fantastic fall colours. So this project is made with my childhood memories: colours and smell and a lot of falling leaves around.
I made this frame with a mix of distress inks and some embossing powders and my leaves were painted with FC gelatos and covered with glaze. The book plate was also inked and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The background  paper and the title sticker are from PHP.

Tag it with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to Tando tag it week! Irit is here again with some Mixed Media inspiration.
I love tags! I really think that this is most artistic crafting without being messy, Mixed Media full of gesso over your hands. So this is  such a project: stamped, water colored, inked, die cut , heat embossed and still clean and maybe even simple. Or not...

I made the background tag with corrugated board and the second tag was all resist stamped with Rubber Dance stamps. Some of the stamps were heat embossed with white powder and some with black and then I covered the whole stamped piece with a mix of distress inks and Gelatos.

I added black brick background die cut and heat embossed Tando bookplate chipboard with glitter blue powder.
The stamped sentiment inside was stamped on vellum.
Another heat embossed  music notes chipboard was added over the bookplate and wit some red paint
" blood" drops, two star brads and some ribbons this tag was finished.

For you box: Vintage

Hello my dear crafty friends!
This is our Vintage week  and this is my take of our vintage project.
I made an altered oval box all full with Tando most gorgeous chiapboards, such as BOOK PLATE covered with 3 embossing powders layers for this distressed look. Then I added the title from Valentine set, heat embossed with one single colour, but with like 3 layers of it.

Mini leaves and flowers were heat embossed with a mix of powders and glued over this box with 3d foam glue.
I also added some bling over those lovely chipboard mini shapes to get this vintage and shiny look.
And here are the chipboards I used  for this project

Hope you like my box and see you again.
