Triple Arched Layer Frame

I love this new ~{Triple Arched Layer Frame}~, although I didn't use the layers for a 3D effect on this:

They are fantastic value as you also get all of the offcuts from the centre of the arches to play with.

I've painted the frames with acrylic paints and made a background on the base like I would on a journal page and then stuck the layers together. I've also used the ~{Sequin Waste Mask}~  on the background and a whole lot of doodling all over.

I've even saved a layer for using soon on another project.

Mini Village Scenelit

As soon as I saw this new release I knew I 'needed' to have a play with it :-D  How much fun is this????

It measures roughly 19x9cm and is about 1cm deep when finished.  I used a mix of papers this time and then doodled the doors & windows.  Like always, when it was finished I looked at it and thought of all the other things that I could have done hahaha!  A book, a wintery Christmas theme, used acetate and of course texture paint!

Thank you for popping by, HUGS, Karen x

Door frame

I love the new Mini Theatre Stages and have used one layer from the ~{Tall}~ version to make this nameplate for my niece. And that leaves me with 4 more layers for other uses!

The background is acrylic paints and I've also used one row from the ~{Hearts Background Mask}~ with DI and then doodled around the hearts. I've used the smaller section of the ~{Sequin Waste Mask}~ with white acrylic paint.
I used acrylic paint on the Stage frame and then used the smaller section of the ~{Union Jack Mask}~ with DI on the top part. And finished off with some doodling using paint pens.

Mardi Gras

Got a package the other day great excitement as it was full of new Tando Chipboard.   First play with the yummy Gothic Arch Layered Frame.

Its nearly Lent in fact by the time this is published it will have started.   In some parts the days before the start of Lent are a big street party or Carnival.   This arch is a celebration of that.

The base is solid topped by all 5 of the arch frames and brightly decorated as you see.

Follow Your Heart

This layout features my daughter doing what she loves most! I wanted to keep the layout simple as these new papers from My Minds's Eye are just stunning! I have used one of the new Tando Lace Effect Borders which has been simply coloured with a ProMarker

Mini Printer Tray Frame card

I've used one layer of a ~{Mini Printer Tray}~ as a frame for a simple stamped card.

As it is 10 x 10 cms, it fitted perfectly onto a square card. I've painted it with Viva Decor Precious Metal Paint in Blue Lagoon and stamped images to fit behind the frames.

Love is here !

My Tic- Tac- Toe board - new one for this year! This time- with more colors, even if some are not so Valentine ones.
I covered the board with Simple Stories paper and stamped over the ribs with Call Me Wow Embossing powders stamp set, then I covered the heart with red embossing powder (as well the letter L) and X were covered with some white crackle paint and then heat embossed with some clear embossing one. The edges were hear embossed with some gold powder and I really like this vintage and not perfect look of the shapes.

Printer Tray book

I was looking at the ~mini printer tray with cover~  & started thinking 'book'...don't know why but it sort of popped into my head hahaha!  Could be because the tray comes in 3 layers.  Anyway after a lot more thinking I did make one and added the gorgeous large ~snowflake~ to the cover!

Here is the inside before I decorated it...

I haven't actually finished adding to it but here is one page...

I have done a tutorial for this which is over ~HERE~ if you fancy a go at this.

Thank you for looking, take care, Karen x

My Black and White Tando love

Hello, my dear friends! This is Irit here again and this time with my non traditional Valentine project.
Sometimes I am just in love with  some colors or designs and this post is all about it. I am in love with Black and White (also I don't craft a lot in those colors, but my outfits are mostly B/W), and I am also very much in love with Tando Creative mini chipboard printers trays. And this time I combined both my loves ti make this altered project for you to see. And as this month we have this B/W and a bit of Zebra  inspiration for our  monthy challenge here on Tando Creative- it was even more then perfect!

Product list:
TANDO PRODUCTS:
152*152 MINI PRINTERS TRAY- heat embossed with white embossing powder
Book plate- stamped and covered with 3d Ranger glaze
Key hole- black inked and heat embossed with Clear embossing powder
Bird- white paint and Fairy Dust glitter
Wings - white ink and Fairy dust glitter
Sewing machine- black heavy embossing paint
Banner on the top- stamped with Prima  stamp and covered with a title
Music notes-  black heavy embossing powder
Robin's Nest papers, Dew drops , alphas
Creative Inspirations Paint embossing powders and paints
Prima flowers, Black Alphas  and lace
You don't need a tutorial to make this project, just to cut all possible B/W Robin's Nest cardstock and to arrange them under the  chipboard frame. Then embellish each section with whatever  you fancy: stamped vintage images, small  covered chipboards, flowers, lace, metals. I even painted small spools into black and white , covered the bird with some sparkle glitter, die cut black chipboard swirls, covered the sewing machine with black embossing powder and made this heat embossed frame.

Now you have a perfect Valentine gift in those non traditional colors.
So now it's your turn  to take our challenge and you can win some of those most gorgeous goodies I used for my project!
Don't wait- play with us to  win!

Love Grows plaque

With Valentines day getting closer its time to get lovey-dovey isn't it?  Here I have made a little plaque using a ~pretty heart~ and a gorgeous ~heart flourish~.

The heart has been covered in an old book page & gesso'd.  The flourish has been spray painted with a bit of paper on the heart.

Good night door hanger

My new Tando project is this fun door hanger.
So for this post  I made this Mixed Media altered door hanger  and as you can see door hanger can be made  not just for kids and this is a perfect example for one made for all of us who can't sleep.  I can't... So this is a present for myself.  Now you may laugh.
So here  it is: made on the base of 10 for $1 foam door hangers project.

I covered it with white gesso and a lot of white molding paste, using some sequin  star shaped net, but as I was  not so patient  and waiting , so the star pattern was totally  gone, but you still can see a lot of patterns over the foam.
Then I misted it with Cleasnap blue mist and added random spots of WOW Embossing powders.
The chipboard Moon and Stars are Tando Creative bare chipboards and first I covered them with some gesso too, than I added a LOT of embossing powders all over .
The stars were covered with the same gold powder too. As I used gesso and it was a bit wet, I didn't use any embossing ink here, but mist and powders only. Then I made some holes to connect my stars with gold chains, added some blue mesh and tied some blue ribbons.
Finally I made Good Night sentiment using another Tando Speech Bubble, inked a bit and very old set of American Crafts Thickers. I was lucky to have all letters  for the sentiment and the only reason that this sentiment is Good Night and not Sleep Well , was because I was out of letters E.
Now I just hope to get some good 6 hours sleep and not my usual 3 hours from 6 am till 9am mostly.
Wish me luck with this small desire!
And here  Tando products used here:
