After giving the pieces of the boat a coating of white Gesso I looked through some ephemera and assembled my layout on the backing board that comes with the set.
I built up the frame gluing them together one by one.. saving the inserts for future projects!
I painted the oars with a coating of Gesso and some acrylic paint and texture paste to give an aged look..
the sentiment was computer generated..
