A Bee in My Bonnet

As soon as I saw the ~{Small Bee Set}~ I knew exactly what project it would be perfect for as I was about to make this canvas using a quote my niece said recently. The beehive just had to be used as a hat! I've used acrylic paint to colour it and added layer upon layer of paint before any of it dried to get some texture. I then very lightly doodled around the sections.

I also used a few of the clouds from the ~{Grab Bag}~ as masks and sprayed two different colours of ink over them. I painted the bottom of the canvas purple, then used the flower mask from the ~{Leaves Set}~ and painted green acrylic paint over the top. I painted some paper purple and masked over the top, then cut out some of the flowers to add over the top. These were all doodled and then a blob of Viva Decor was added to finish. The stamps used are by Stampotique and the words are computer generated.
