Time flies

Hello, my dear Tando friends and Happy Holidays to you all!
This is Tando Free week (as all of us are very busy  during this Holidays, we decided to showcase some of our " no theme" projects and this is my project for this week: Time flies altered triple arch.
I used this Tando arch with a lot of Visible Image stamps, Ranger mists and Wow Embossing powders and I  think those arches are just the best possible for any vintage style altered projects.

Hope you like this project too and see you next week with more Tando inspiration!

Village in a Box Christmas Playset

Merry Christmas Tando fans!  Dana here today sharing a festive holiday box with a fun surprise inside. This box may be beautiful on the outside, but its what's inside that counts, right?

I had so much fun with the Village In A Box Kit!

No village would be complete without residents.

A strand of lights decorates the inside of the white picket fence.

Some happy little star stickers help add a pop of color to the treeline.  I also added a touch of sparkle with some rhinestones and some "snow" with Sparkle Texture Effect.  The bottom of the box is covered with a layer of fluffy batting.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you have enjoyed my village as much as I enjoyed sharing it.

Mini Christmas Scenelit

Helloooo!  This week we are looking at Winter Festivals. Well, I was a bit naughty and just went for 'winter' and made up a lovely 3D Mini Christmas Scenelit. These are so easy to put together! Looking at it now I realise that I should have done it darker and put some mini lights around it :(. Oh well...hindsight is a wonderful thing :D

I have attached a loop to the back so that it can hang up. Fresco and gold paints used throughout and then some Glistening Snow-Tex by DecoArt applied.....lovely stuff! I couldn't resist adding the mini Father Christmas & Reindeer, also by Tando.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS, HAVE A FABULOUS TIME!

Thank you for taking a look today, HUGS, Karen xxx

Snowflake Tag

Hi Gez here, today I have a tag to share with you.

The tag was inked with Dylusions spray inks and then water bleached with the Joined snowflakes mask.

see below..

It was a shame to cover up most of the masking, it did look well!

I then created a little scene on one the very durable Artist Trading Cards from Tando.

The chipboard small bunting and snowflake were coated with pearly acrylic paint and added to the tag.

 lots of sparkle add too!

Thank you for calling, keep warm! Gez

Christmas Candle Holder

Hi!    This week we are all about those last minute gifts and cards. There is always someone that we forget isn't there? I tend to wrap up a spare present or two just in case hahaha! Anyways...I have decorated a little wooden candle holder for the Christmas table...

I painted the wooden blank with acrylics and then went over it with some Ice Crystal Glamour Dust paint (this is amazing stuff :D). The Tando snowflakes have been apinted with the same blue and then I went over them with glossy accents and dropped loads of glitter on top. Seeeemples!

Hoping that all your Christmas plans are coming together nicely, HUGS Karen xxx

Merry Everything!

Hi Gez here with a quick and easy Christmas card to share with you today.

Here is my card.

I started with a piece of plain white cardstock and sprayed Dylusion Ink sprays through Tando's Joined Snowflake mask.

I then mounted the card onto black cardstock to make the pattern pop! and painted a Tando Mini Snowman with pearl acrylic paint.

Isn't he cute!

Thank You for calling and leaving a comment if you get the chance. Keep warm this weekend.

Happy creating, Gez oxoxo

Quick and easy Christmas cards using Mini's

I've made a couple of cards here using some of the Tando Mini's to show how they fit perfectly onto cards, especially now the postage is so expensive! These are thinner and more lightweight than the usual chipboard so won't increase the cost at all. The card blanks I have used are 10 x 10 cms.

First off  I've used the holly from the ~{Mini Bells and Holly}~ and painted them with acrylic paints, then doodled a border. The only thing that takes a while is waiting for the glossy accents to dry! These were simply arranged around a greeting.

For this second card I've used the ~{Mini Snowmen}~ and painted them with acrylic paint before doodling on them and adding mini googly eyes. Some patterned paper, a greeting and washi tape finished them off.

Snowflake Gift Box

Hi!  Dana here today sharing a fun and frosty gift box for the Quick and Easy Gifts theme this week.  Tando has a fabulous range of masks and stencils.  I used the Joined Snowflake Mask and some Dylusions mist in London Blue.  Once the mist was dry I tied a variety of ribbons around the wire handle.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Quick and Easy Cards and Gifts

The focus for this week is quick and easy cards and gifts....so I created a mixture of both.

This is the gift part - the little glassine envelopes will be filled with smarties which correspond with the stamped instructions!  They make a great treat for teachers of tree present, or just a little thank you for a friend.  I used the Tando mini snowflake which I covered in white ink, and then inked the edge with distress ink, and also the mini reindeer just covered in brown ink and glossy accents.

For the cards- I layered up lots of offcuts of paper and then inked the stocking with some red, and the cuff with a matt gold colour, I then covered it all in glossy accents and whilst that was still wet sprayed on some red glimmer mist which is why you get the watercolour spots on the stocking.

A really simple card for my last one - I used the snowflake mask as a stencil, just using a gel pen, and then found the co-ordinating mini snowflake which I covered in white ink and stickles, the final touch was to stamp Merry Christmas.

Time to live your dream: winter colors

Hello, my dear Tando friends! Irit is here again  and this time with non winter art piece featuring all Winter colors.
This Tando printers tray was all covered with embossing powders and the windows were stamped and embellished for this vintage fancy look.  I actually made a winter colours tray with no winter items. So if you live in a warm country, like me, you still can use those  lovely  cold colours.

See you next time with more winter inspiration (a real winter one)!

Winter Colours from Gez..

This week some of the Design Team have been sharing their winter colour theme projects with you and today it's my turn!

There's something about winter that I love... long snowy walks with the children for one, then getting home and making hot chocolate for everyone and drying out our socks over the fire.. sounds nice until it happens and then you realise you have forgotten just how much the cold stings your hands and how much the little ones moan the moment they get home... aw, well..!!

Here's my sneak peak I shared the other day on my blog.. I had great fun colouring the mini holly leaves and berries from the Mini Bells and Holly set with Distress Inks.. I liked how the inks soaked in really well and went lighter as they dried.. then the fun bit! Adding some Rock Candy Distress Stickles..

 ..another sneak peak..

I had a feeling the chipboard holly would work well with this image
and I think I was right! I just LOVE this card, it sums up wintertime to me!

my finished card..

HERE is the set from Tando Creative that I used on my card..
see HERE for a list of stockists

I hope you are having a lovely weekend wherever you are, keep warm.

Happy creating, Gez oxoxo

Frosty Winter Colours

To me, Winter Colours mean frosty whites, blues and lilacs, but I've made a non-Christmas card with them!

I've used some of the butterflies from the ~{Mini Butterflies}~ set. Some I covered in patterned paper and inked the edges and the rest I painted with acrylic paint and stamped on them. I've added gems to the centres of the butterflies.

They really are lovely and quick to do and the perfect size for cardmaking. They are lightweight and thinner than the original chipboard, but can still take a good 'Kaz-ing'.

Winter Scenelit

Hi Tando fans! Dana here today sharing a fun and festive scenelit for the Winter Colors theme this week.  I had a lot of fun adding color to each layer of this piece using my collection of paints. (Please stop by my blog if you would like a full color list.)

I added some "snow" with Martha Stewart Sparkle Texture Effect.

I cut the decorative edges from a Mini Book Plate to make this plaque.  I backed the book plate with cardstock, added the lettering and then filled the front with Glossy Accents.

Once I glued all the layers together I wrapped a strip of ribbon around the piece to finish.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Winter Colors - Let it Snow!

Hi, here's Caro. Welcome to a new week and a new theme! This week we will show you some projects with winter colors ... well that was easy as those are my favorite colors :)

I have created a card with the beautiful patterned papers of BoBunny and a few chipboards of tando: Tando Mini's Snowmen, Tando Mini's Stars, Flourish 6 small.
