A lot of Love with Tando

Hello, my dear crafty friends! Irit is here again with my weekly project.
This is a Love week over Tando blog and here is my small, but totally full of love project. I made this Mixed Media altered key chain (can be also used as lovely bag chain) using Tando Heart Cogs Mix Small and a lot of Wow Embossing Powders.

As those chippies were bare ones, I first covered them with white pigmented ink. Then I added a lot of red and pink embossing powders and all together with my white background it made this unique glossy look. I also used a double sided glue sheet to add the inside gold sparkle powder and then added all small embellishments, the huge metal key and ribbons.

Happy Valentine to you all!

Love Is In The Air - Love Birds Hanging

Hi Tando fans! Dana here today sharing a love bird hanging for the "Love is in the Air" theme this week. I love Tando's selection of small and mini chipboard pieces! They're the perfect size for this project which measures about 9cm x 11cm. I used a Small Bird Cage and a pair of birds from the Mini Birds Grab Bag.

I gave the chipboard a light coat of paint.  Once the pieces were dry I added some Distress Stickles for a bit of sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Same but Different - my Knights Arches

Here is what I have created with the Straight Edged Small Arches. I have had these stamps for a few months now and they are so beautiful but I didn't know what to do with them. Now with these great arches I had an idea :)

I have cut out paper and glued it onto the arches, colored and stamped it. The frame of the middle arch is colored with Distress Stains Faded Jeans and Brushed Pewter.

Same But Different by Kaz

Here's what I came up with using the arches:

I have used acrylic paints throughout, mostly Fresco, but a little Eco Green.

For the first I painted the base, then painted through the ~{Ink Splatters Mask}~, then painted the inner part and painted through the ~{Neil Walker Fish Mask}~. I've used 2 stars from the ~{Mini Stars}~ and painted them then finished off with loads of doodles and stamping.

For the second one I've blended paint in differing shades of blue across the base and stamped the moon then carefully painted it. Then stamped the star from the stamp over the base. I painted the frame and added dots, then painted more Mini Stars and arranged them with the quote stamp.

Arch Pendant

Hello, its Karen here today with my version of the lovely arch.  This week we are all playing with the same chipboard design......a lovely arch that measures 7.7 x 5.5 cm. A size that could be used for many projects.  I decided to turn mine upside down and create a pendant.  I am sorry that the picture is a little dark but it was hard to get one because of the embossing on it.

I stamped the base & coloured with copics then clear embossed it.  The top layer has been painted & embossed, as has the butterfly.  You don't just get one arch in the pack but several pieces to play with...

Thank you for taking a look today, please pop back tomorrow for some more inspirational arches!, HUGS, Karen

Art- my way of life:Ink week

Hello,my dear crafty friends! Irit is here again and this time with my paint project. This is Tando altered Octagon printers tray and I made it as my Way of Life and Art is my way of life. So art goes with paints and I really made it about paint. You can see my stamped (100 Proof Press company)  Artist Palette  painted with Creative Inspirations Paints; some " blood drops" of my soul are dropped with red paint; then the whole frame was painted with Ranger Tattered Rose distress paint. The inside was painted with Ranger Distress stains and even my flowers were paint misted. The swirl is a painted part of Tando journaling plate .I also painted this brass metal charm and my letters. I think this is my " most painted" Tando project ever.
Here is another look over this painted project and also I know that this is an Ink week, I made it with all possible colouring mediums and inks are here for sure, over my stamped images.
See you next time with more Tando inspiration!

Thinking Inking card

I made this card to show how I use certain inks on Tando products:

I've masked off part of the card and then used the new ~{Neil Walker Tangled Yarn Mask}~ with Distress Ink. I can see this mask being used over and over again!

I painted 2 leaves from the ~{Mini Leaves 2}~ pack with acrylic paint and then used Stazon ink with a text stamp. I like to use this ask the stamping is crisp and doesn't sink in.

I've taken a close up to show the centre of the flower as I've cut the head from one of the ~{Mini Keys}~ and painted it.

This card was made for my Nan as she was 98 yesterday!!!!

Adventure

This is my inky page - Adventure, it's not the best photo as my son's hat is covering lots of his face yet it marks a memory!

I started with the random circles mask and carefully painted olive green distress ink in all the circles using a distress stain, I then used the mask as a stencil to go around the edge of the circle in black gel pen  - I also continued the circles a little further on each side than the mask itself does (just by moving the mask along) so that you could see more of the circles when the papers were on the page too.  I also added some stars and a compass...again just using ink - the 2 chipboard stars are covered in red brick distress ink and the compass in brown stazon and then I added some glossy accents to the top.

It's all snow!

This week some of the Design Team members have been sharing their snowy creations with you.. today, it's my turn Gez.. I heard the other day we are due 3 weeks of snow.. I hope it's true!

I've made an Atc for my creation this week and had so much fun getting inky and messy!

  Be mine?

I have used one of the fabulous Artist Trading Cards
They come in a pack of five in either grey board or white lined.

For the background I sprayed ink through the Joined Snowflakes mask.

I embellished the Atc with a snowman from the Mini's Snowmen set (ideal for card making too) and also one of the snowflakes from the Mini's Snowflakes set and painted each of them with silver acrylic paint.

I hope you like my Atc..Thank you for calling.

Wishing you a super weekend. Gez

Snowflakes all around us: Snowflakes week

Hello, my dear Tando friends! Irit is here  and this time I made a perfect Winter Tando banner using those most gorgeous WINTER letters and mini snowflakes.

And some close ups to this project parts:

The letters were misted, clear powder heat embossed and then stamped over with Visible Image background stamps and Staz-On black ink. Then I covered all snowflakes with white paint and fine glitter and embellished some with brass charms from Handmade Halo shop. Some flowers in the middle and MM Love sign finished this lovely banner.
See you next time with more inspiration!

Snow Globe

Hi Tando fans!  Dana here today sharing a snow globe for the snow theme this week.  I created this little snow globe for my daughter.  The beautiful wings are from the Butterfly Grab Bag. I painted the chipboard with cream colored paint, topped that with a crackle medium and then a layer of gesso for a bright white topcoat.  When that was dry, I added some Pumice Stone Distress Stickles.

Once I had my scene arranged to my liking, I filled the globe with mica flakes and added some decorative ribbons.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Snow - Let it Snow

I just love all the snowflake goodies - chipboard and masks.  I used the set of 5 snowflake masks and scraped texture paste through it, then layered up all my papers and dangled some chipboard snowflakes across my photo - I inked them with a white memento ink, then went around the edge with some tea dye distress ink, the final touch was to add a little icicle stickles glitter glue.
