Really enjoyed making the pin below and remembered that this little star as still waiting to be given a make over. Out with the Melt pot and more flat back gems.
Melted the UTEE and sprinkled some orange into the pot. When that was melted put the star in and made sure it had a good coating of UTEE. Once the star was removed the UTEE cooled quickly so to attach each little gem it was reheated quickly in the desired area with a heat gun. Some ribbon threaded through presto a pendant.
Who says stars are just for Christmas LOL
These little stars come in packs of two.

Jigsaw Joy
There's nothing like jumping right in! Thank you Di for inviting me to join the Design Team have been a fan of Tando for a while now, its been a great thrill to see my work appearing here a thrill not likely to wear of anytime soon.
For somewhere else this week a project based on a word was needed this is my new wall hanging present for a friend in New Zealand made for that.
Have chosen to use the word Joy, needed a three letter word as there are just 3 jigsaw pieces in Tando set. Jigsaw pieces coloured with Viva Inka Gold in Lava Red. Letters (not Tando) coloured with green gold then stamped and embossed in gold with little holly leaves. The star, also Tando, coloured with silver paint. My favourite holly stamp stamped and embossed on Grungepaper, cut out and then coloured with Pro Markers. Jigsaw pieces hinged togather with brads a couple more brads and some self adhesive gems and some red wire to make the hanger.
These are the raw sets used

Wish upon a star
Another design not seen yet. This intricate Christmas Star could be used at any time of the year.
Kaz has done a fabulous job by using Glimmer Mist, Glossy Accents, Gems and Glitter to make this a perfect decoration for her tree.
