Red and Black Hearts!

Hello! For this special week  I have decorated a pack of hanging hearts...

Each heart is around 8cm long to give you an idea of the overall hanging length.  I have added some texture paste through Tando's Heart Mask and then painted them with DecoArt Metallic Festive Red (fabulous sheen on this).  Instead of using the letter from the kit I have covered some hearts from a Tando Grab Bag with some script paper and gone around the edges with Brilliance Graphite Black.  Here is a close up of the hearts...

A few gems, ribbon and beads finish it all off!  Here are the Tando products I used...

Christmas heart

Another heart used from the ' Home ' hanging chipboard set....this time to create a decoration for my Christmas tree.   I covered the heart in this gorgeous Crafty Individuals Christmas paper and added some hand cut wings covered in the same.

Tip : Don't throw out your Tando packaging... the card comes in really useful for little extras like these wings, ATC backs and to put through your diecutting machines ;-)

I used a tube of 3d glitter glue to add around the edges and also a little snowflake charm and clear gem for a little bit of luxury.

A really easy project but something I can keep in my decorations box to use for lots of years to come.

Angela's home heart hanging

Home Heart Wall Hanging

Another lovely creation from SJ with her version of our home heart wall hanging.....fantastic work.

SJ has used Cosmo Cricket papers and added some buttons and ribbon.  The letters and engraved tree plaque have been watercoloured....and yes, the chippie can take watercolour.

HOME HEART WALL HANGING

Hello, its Karen here and I have been playing with this lovely wall hanging!  You can decorate this in colours to suit your decor and of course you can use this as part of another project...I love the choices you get!

I have chosen to match my decor haha!  I covered the hearts with some pretty paper & then blitzed them with gold Glimmer Mists.  I had some pretty pearls on bias binding which I glued arounds the edges to create a bit of bling.  The letters have been painted to match & then I have applied Glossy Accents and sprinkled with glitter before they dried.  I threaded ribbon through the holes to bring it all together.
