Door Hanger : Fabric week

 Hello my dear Tando friends and welcome to my new  post made for Tando Fabric week.
I almost never use fabric on my creations and this  " use fabric" thing was a bit challenging for me.
 But finally I found a couple of canvas piece that were die cut and then stencilled with Tando stencil and painted and used as my door hanger background.
So first I painted this Tando door hanger with DecoArt Media line acrylic paint. Then I added a thick layer of  DecoArt Clear crackle glaze  and added a layer of gold paint when it was dry.
The fabric flags were glued over the door hanger.
Next I painted the bird cage, the birds, the rose flower and the background.
Some of those piece were also covered with crackle and then painted with  gold paint over the cracks.
I think that this a  lovely door hanger to say " Good Morning"  to someone that you love!

A little Bird Told Me Arch - In The Garden

Hi Tando fans! Dana here today sharing an arch for the "In the Garden" theme this week. I started this piece with an Arabian Style Layered Arch Frame. I covered the arch with a book page and added the background pattern with the Leaves Mask Set, which contains both the leave mask and the flower mask, and some Distress inks.

I painted the flowers with Twinkling H2Os watercolor paint. I added a pearl flower center to each bloom with a Viva Decor Pearl Pen.

I colored a Mini Bird with a Distress Marker and then added a white feather patterned rub-on. I colored the Small Bird Cage with a simple coat of white acrylic paint and added a yellow rose for a fun pop of color.

I finished this piece with a sentiment sticker and a bow.

Winged Things - Fly Away Card

Hi Tando fans! Dana here today sharing a card for the "Winged Things" Theme this week. The Tando Mini Range is perfect for small projects! I used a mini bird, one of three different designs in the set, from the Grab Bag of Mini Birds. I had a lot of fun dressing up a Bird Cage with some acrylic paint, flowers and ribbon.
