Hello, its Karen here with a card this time.
As its the 1st week of the month we are following a colour chart and February's looks like ice-cream haha! I created a painty background using the colours suggested and added a little light script stamping. The Tando *flower* and *leaf* have been painted the darker colours and edged with a white pen. The leaf has been glittered and paper flowers added to the centre of the flower. A little toning chiffon ribbon finishes it off.
If you fancy playing along with this weeks theme (or any week) you can now :-D There is a random draw at the end of the month for prizes!!!! Just link your work *here* Here are the Tando pieces that I used:
Thank you for looking today, Hugs, Karen xxx

Turning a new leaf
This chippie is tough it takes all the paints and treatments we throw at it and we are all still finding out just what it will do and how we can make the most of it! Needing a bookmark for another swap this tall leaf seemed perfect. Plain chippie coloured with Viva Inca Gold and then over stamped and embossed on both side.
Adding a chain and shrink charms punching a hole in the stem with a hole punch was like cutting butter. How can it be so tough, strong and resilient and yet so each to punch holes in?
The leaves come in packs of four.

LEAVES & FRAMES!
Hello, its Karen here again & I have been getting bright & funky with some chippie! I have made up a 5x7inch canvas...
I used a coupleof lovely leaves & 2 of the little frames I designed...
I have used a mixture of Eco Acrylic paint & Dylusions Mica Spray on the canvas & the chipboard. Then gone over in parts with modge podge & crackle accents.
Thank you for taking a look today. Don't forget to leave a comment to say that you have been, we love to read them, HUGS XXXX

TURNING OVER A NEW LEAF?
Hello, its Karen here again!!! This time I added 2 of the fabulous leaves to my project! I love these leaves, they are lovely shapes.
They have been painted with distress inks and then crackle glaze added. They sit nicely behind my stamped mushrooms don't you think? Here is what you get in the packs...cool aren't they?
The full project was a clock for a challenge...
Although Tando haven't designed clocks yet...a little birdie tells me they are on a list hehe! Wouldn't that be fab??? Thank you for taking the time to have a look today, do leave a message is you have the time so that we know you have popped by, HUGS XXX

THE FERN TREE!
Helloooo, its Karen here! Di sent me one of the gorgeous new leaves she has, the tall fern. This one comes in a pack of 4, 2 different styles & sizes...very versatile eh? Now I know its not Christmasy but I did turn it into a Christmas tree card! hahaha
The leaf has been coloured & covered with clear rock candy and then jazzed up with some stickles. The parcels & holly are all stamped images which have been coloured, glossed & cut out! So what have you done with your leaves???
Thank you so much for taking a look today, please leave a comment as we love the feedback! HUGS XXX
