Day two of Tando week at the Craft Barn......
More from the Craft Barn today....many thanks again to Jane as I have lifted her blog post there.
Today is Gio's day!!!
Gio says...
"I altered a box to contain my sewing-machine threads.
I gessoed my box. I coloured every side with Distress Ink.
To blend the different colours I spritzed some water on it.
I flicked drops of water from my hand on every side.
I gessoed the Tando dressform.
I put some drops of different alcohol ink on the craft sheet along with the blending solution.
I put the chipboard shape face down on the craft sheet.
I repeated the same thing with the other shapes.
I stamped the box with purple Staz-on and glued the chipboard shapes and some buttons.
For the inside I sewed a torso shape from a square of fabric (mine is from a rag),
and stuffed to use as a pincushion".

Big Canvas
I've made this canvas using the ~{Cooking Set 1 Small}~ and ~{2" Banner Alphas}~ for my kitchen (did I mention my kitchen?)!!
Everything has been painted with acrylic paints first, then some were doodled on with white pen. I ran some of the letters through an embossing folder using the cuttlebug, then inked the raised parts and I stamped the remaining letters.
I used sequin waste as this part was done before I got the ~{Sequin Waste Mask}~, I wish I'd waited!!!

The large Horse Set
Hello there, now scrapbooking isn't really my thing but I do admire the fabulous pages that others do. However I do dabble, though its not at the same standard hahaha! When I recieved this lovely horse set I found the perfect picture of my niece who tried everything to get that pony to look at her!!!
Isn't this horse beautiful, the chippie not what I did with it haha? You can see that I used the harlequin mask on the background and on the chippie after I had painted them with acrylic. The paper & letter are BG. The word 'sweet' is Tando & was left over from another project.
Thank you for taking a look and don't forget to pop back next week for Zoe's class....looks to be great fun I think! HUGS xxx

Life is a game altered frame
This square chipboard frame form Tando Creative was in my DT box for ages and I hadn't any clue what I am going to do with it. Then I thought about all this game pieces I collect, game stamps and game papers and here is a result. Life is a game- U play to win is the quote all over the frame. I used Glitz bingo and crossword piece,Maya Road bingo markers, J. Bowlin bingo letters, also I added some Paper studio metal ones and MM wood game letters too. Puzzel pieces were punched, real game cards, dominos etc were added over the moulding paste coverage and some stamping. I think it is some kind of statement said here and I hope you like it

Home Decoration- hanging heart
I just love pretty ribbon flowers and the open heart from the Tando set shown below, was a perfect base to arrange some I made from wire edged ribbon to display on the wall in my living room. Black isn't everyones colour choice but I like it as it fits in with my home decor.
I painted the chipboard heart base with black acrylic paint before using a glue gun to add the flowers and used some pretty braid to hang it with.
The heart is a good size and these flowers are quite large but I think lots of small flowers in rainbow colours would make a lovely alternative.
Thanks for looking
hugs
