Hello everyone, today you will not see any bat or raven as "flying things" on our inspirational blog, I offer you a brief pause from our Halloween projects. So instead, here's a simple card with a beautiful peacock (I loveeeee peacocks and their feathers !!) done this summer, that's why colours are out of season !
During my summer holidays I had very few time to craft and could only take away with me a small survival kit. I chose my new Brilliance inks and a set of fabulous quite recent stamps from Chocolate Baroque: Peacock Parade to play with, and of course several masks and stencils among my favorites. Here's the result of my play, thanks to the help of my Sunburst and Baroque stencils from Andy Skinner.
Hope you enjoy (at least the break Lol !!). If you'd like more details pop on over to my blog... And please come again tomorrow to see more inspiration on this theme from my teammies, maybe much more frightening haha ! Hugs, Coco xxx

Flying Things - Bat Bows
Hi Tando fans! Dana here today starting off our Flying Things theme this week with a set of Halloween hair bows. I covered two bats, from the Mixed Halloween Minis, with black glitter and glued them to the center of two bows. My daughter can't wait to wear these!
I created this bat ring last year and thought I'd share it here again as it fits the theme. Tando Creative chipboard stands up very well to frequent handling and is perfect for off-the-page projects like these!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Black & Orange - Happy Halloween Card
Hi Tando fans! Dana here today wrapping up the week with a black and orange card. I colored a piece of white cardstock with orange Distress inks for the base of my card. I then inked the edges with black Distress Ink and stamped the spider web.
I added a spider, that I spritzed with a light coat of Glimmer Mist, from the Grab Bag of Spiders to the corner of the web with some adhesive foam. These spider designs are so realistic and I'm terrified of spiders, so I did this part as quickly as possible!
I added some bright orange trim and a strip of patterned paper to the bottom of the card and tied it all together with some twine and a metal token.
I embellished the top corner of the card with some Magic Mesh and a simple sticker sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by today! If you've missed the posts from earlier this week, scroll down for a treat. Join us here again next week when our ideas will really take flight!

Hocus Pocus - Black and Orange
Hi (Coco) everyone! I'm back to bring you my vision of our theme this week. As I didn't do anything yet for Halloween except a few ATCs so far, it itched me to create a large scene on a magical world, with scary and creepy flying things ! Soooo... I couldn’t resist to set the front of an haunted house for Halloween. Mwahahahaha....
I did this on a large plain watercolour A3 size sheet. I used two Tando's great masks on this, cobweb 2 and Distorved hige, and a small bat from a bag of three. Hope you will not suffer from nightmares after that !!

I put aside my page to dry naturally, and layered a beautiful flower using scraps of watercolour and black papers inked with Distress inks and some leftovers of mistable inks (with a bit of violet) on my craft sheet. I stamped my owl (an Indigoblu stamp) in the left corner, after putting (with my finger) some blank and yellow paints and inks under it. I checked the effect using my stamp positioner (I highly recommend this tool if you don’t have it yet, soooooooo useful!).
All the stamps of my scene were stamped using either archival ink or Versamark, being next heat embossed with a black and glittered mixture of powders. Some Die cut were added here and there, and the silhouettes were glued with pieces of cardboard under them to pop. I redrew some lines of my owl with a fine black to highlight it. Fresco Finish paints were also used in complement to add colour using a brush (or my fingers) in some areas, and sometimes also used for stamping like for my central skull. The fabulous Cobweb 2 at the top left edge was stencilled with snowflake to give it a white shade like death... I used a fine black pen for finishing, to lightly underline some areas. Can you see how beautiful it looks ?...
My bat from the Set of 3 bats was painted in black, and also heat embossed with the leftovers of my mix of powders. I introduced some Yellow stickles in their eye sockets. I did the same for my small skull hidden behind the hell door, also covered first with some Crackle Accents, as far as I can remember ! At the end I edged my page with black paint. Here are some close-ups:
I love this dark part of my scene that looks like if many flying creatures have fought strongly in the sky !...
And I love my skull !!!!!! Hope you like it too ! If enough time, I will probably glue this page on a black painted canvas for the day of Halloween...
Here are the Tando products I used (LOVE them all!!!)
Have a great and creative week-end ! Crafty Hugs Coco xx

BLACK AND ORANGE CONTINUES
Hello everyone - hasn't there been some gorgeous black and orange projects this week...today we have two projects to share with you....
Firstly let me introduce to you this months Guest Dt member:-
Minna Enqvist who is based in Finland - do pop on over and take a look at her lovely blog...
For her first project Minna has created this layout
My first project is scrapbooking page. Thinking about those colors, the
first thing what came up to my mind was a pumpkin. I have some quite
nice ones growing in my garden!
For this layout I have used gesso, orange and yellow mists to create
the background. Small pumpkins I have colored with embossing powers ad
the tree is painted with black acrylic paint. I love splashes, so I made
some with Tattered angels Glimmer glam. That's one of my favorite
products!
Journaling: In my family we don't celebrate Halloween that much, but we
have autumn celebrations, of course.
Products used: Mini's - Pumpkins, Graveyard Sets

Orange & Black Week - Layered Arch
Hello Tando friends, Caro is here today. As this week our theme is black & orange it's simply perfect for Halloween projects. So I have created an arch with following chipboards: Layered Arch with Cobweb, a skeleton and two pumpkins of the Tando's Mini's - Mixed Halloween Set.
I colored everything with Distress Inks and Distress Stains. The skeleton and the cobweb are white embossed and the pumpkins are clear embossed over orange Distress Stains. For the eyes I used black stickles.
