Boys toys with Irit: something a bit different

Hello my dear crafty friends! Irit is here again and this time with a set of ATC. Most probably you  ask why I made ATC for Boys and their toys week? The answer is very simple: I didn't find anything  for boys or even for men in my Tando crafty box, but I have those gorgeous Scullduggery  mask and sculls are so much Boys! So I made this trio with one small Scull  mask , once from the front  side and once from the back and one profile mask over the third piece. I used black gesso and it was quite textured. Then I misted all  my ATC with a mix of 3 mists and painted screws to add some more texture.

Finally it even works!   And this is a good example of some " brain storming" too: you can create everything from anything if you want it a lot!

BOYS TOYS!

Hellooooo!  I am kicking off this weeks theme here of BOYS TOYS .  With small boys in mind I have decorated the fantastic CHALK BOARD TRAIN for a tiddly near me :-D  Now this particular tiddly gets very excited when a certain 'Thomas' is on the T.V. so I have used the same colours.

The train has been painted with acrylics and I use special Clear Chalkboard Paint for the inside.   The train comes with a little attachable tray to hold the chalk but I decided not to use it this time.  Here is the kit...

MEMO/CHALK BOARD - TRAIN

You can now buy direct from Tando Creative and I have linked the train to the retail site.  There is also a lovely FAIRY CASTLE chalkboard for the girlies!

Thank you for taking a look today, HUGS xxx

Transport - Deep Blue Sea Arch

Hi Tando fans! Dana here sharing an Arabian-Style Arch that I created for the Transport theme this week. I love being on the water and have fond memories of sailing on the weekends with my family as a child. Anything that stay at sea too long becomes worn and weathered, so I went with a subdued color palette. The images and text on this arch are stamped with the Susan K. Weckesser Sail Away Stamp Set. I added some clouds and a bird to complete the scene.

Thanks for stopping by! You can now swing by the Tando Retail Store to pick up these pieces today!

Transportation: Journey to our dreams

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to our Transportation week!
This is my Journey Mixed Media canvas that shows some transports- if anyone still use  hot air balloon and an old steam train...
But then those Tando pieces are so great for any Mixed Media crafts!  The clock shows the time that is gone and  London skykine  piece is just delicious!

See you in a few days with more TANDO inspiration!
