I've been playing with the ~{3D Snowflake Style 1}~ and have blinged it up to make an ornament for the dinner table or a mantlepiece for example.
I gave it a generous spray of Jazz Blue Glimmer Mist making sure I got the edges too. The next stages involve a lot of patience as I've put glitter glue on the very edge of all the pieces. Once this has dried you can start the next stage. I've added different sized dots of Viva Decor Transparent Gloss Dots and sprinkled glitter over. Again you need patience before you can turn it over and repeat the process. You just have to remember to leave a space where the two pieces slot together.
It's a bit difficult to show it off in a photo, so you'll have to trust me on this!

SEASONS GREETINGS already!!!
Hellooo, its Karen here again to get you in the Christmas mood hehe! I have been playing with one of the fabulous Christmas 2010 word blocks this time and used it on a 5x7inch canvas...
The letters have been painted with a red emulsion match pot from a DIY store, the only Christmasy red that I had :D. I went over them then with distress crackle paint to help them pop. If you want more details on how I made this do pop over to my blog ~here~.
Thank you for dropping by and please leave a message to say you have been :D HUGS XXX

COGS & DRAWERS!
Hellooooo, its Karen here for you today! When we think of COGS I think most of us these days think of Steampunk type crafting. I have done something different with mine though. I have used them to decorate a mini chest of drawers...
These little cogs are sooo easy to cover with paint, I have used some bronze Eco Paint, which goes on like a dream! I painted & stamped on the drawers before embossing some circles onto it to match in with the cogs. These cogs are available in 2 sizes, I used the small ones which are approx 40mm across.
Wouldn't these make fabulous wheels too? Thank you for dropping by today, for more info on what I used please pop over to my blog for a nosy ~HERE~ HUGS XXXX

Christmas Mini's Holly
I've been playing with the holly leaves from the ~{Christmas Mini's}~ and using them as accents on Christmas cards. They really are very cute and as there are 5 in the pack, along with stars and sleighs, they go a long way.
I have painted them with acrylic paints, edged the leaves with Distress Inks and added a line along the middle with a pen before adding Glossy Accents. For the berries, I have added a bit of white pen for a highlight then used Viva Decor Gloss Gel Pen in Transparent. I did the berries individually, leaving about half hour in between for them to start setting.

Mini Merry Christmas Words
I've put it off long enough, but today I started my Christmas cards as I got these fabby words to play with. The ~{Merry Christmas}~ is beautiful and is perfect to use with a large embellishment. I've simply sprayed it with Glimmer Mist and then added some Glossy Accents to it.
By the way, the embellishment came off a cracker!!!

Sing mini album with Tando notebook chipboard
While I am waiting for some new chipboards to come (long way from UK to Israel) ,
I decided to use some of the pieces that I was keeping for my Travel minialbum
(I am going to Italy in 3 days- so I thought to keep this travel set and to use it after my vacation)
This Boarding pass piece from the set was just right for my very easy "2 cuts- 5 folds"
minibook made from one single 30*30 cm. cardstock (if you want to see it open-
please visit my blog here ).
It was covered with some Kraft paper, painted with pale rose acrylic paint all around
and I stamped distressed music stamp with white ink and used this piece as a panel for my title.

CHRISTMAS SLEIGH
ooo Christmas is coming!!!!! I love this time of the year when we start our Christmas crafting...that is before we get fed up with it all haha! Its Karen here and I have been doing lots of painting, stamping & embossing & a little sewing on this...
This gorgeous 3D SLEIGH is part of the CHRISTMAS 2010 COLLECTION. Well, I had all sorts of plans for this one ...funny how things work out. I was going to really go to town with embellishments but in the end decided that I liked the shape too much to detract from it! It has been painted with 2 thin layers of antique white acrylic paint. ( TIP: don't overload with paint or paper or the pieces won't fit together. Its a lovely snug fit! ) I stamped all over with snowflakes & gold embossed them before adding my crackle glaze to 'age' it. I couldn't resist making a 'blanket' to go inside...
I shall probably put nuts in this one at Christmas. If you would love to have one of these then take a look HERE! for the STOCKISTS. Thank you for taking a look today, Please leave a message to say that you have been by, HUGS XXX

TURNING OVER A NEW LEAF?
Hello, its Karen here again!!! This time I added 2 of the fabulous leaves to my project! I love these leaves, they are lovely shapes.
They have been painted with distress inks and then crackle glaze added. They sit nicely behind my stamped mushrooms don't you think? Here is what you get in the packs...cool aren't they?
The full project was a clock for a challenge...
Although Tando haven't designed clocks yet...a little birdie tells me they are on a list hehe! Wouldn't that be fab??? Thank you for taking the time to have a look today, do leave a message is you have the time so that we know you have popped by, HUGS XXX

Table Setting using Small 3D Tree
I've made this place setting using the 3D tree which is available soon. Could you imagine a table decorated with a mini tree for every person in different colours?
It has been made very simply using acrylic paint. I did a second coat of dabs of paint to give it some texture, but that doesn't show very well. Once the paint was dry, I doodled the edges for definition and then used some opal gloss gel pen to make different sized dimensional dots.
A small handcut star slips into the top of the tree easily. All I need now is an invite!
