Spooky Wreath

Hi Gez here, I am delighted to be sharing a spooky [Halloween Wreath] with you today. The wreath comes with cobweb detail and also letters which spell HALLOWEEN..

It was really simple to apply [Carbon Black] DecoArt Fluid acrylic paint straight onto the wreath. The wreath was stamped with a cobweb stamp and bottle top lids to create rings in silver acrylic paint. Silver paint was also applied through the [Sequin Waste Mask].

Skulls and pumpkins were also used to decorate the wreath from the Tando mini [Mixed Halloween] set.

Thank you for taking a look and leaving a comment if you get the chance. Stay safe this Halloween and Bonfire time.

  Happy creating, [Gez]

Spooky..... with Lisa

Hi folks, Lisa here and welcome to my Spooky creation for Tando. Halloween is just around the corner and of course, we have to take the opportunity to create something spooky and ghoulish.

Here is my creation...

I used the Tando Round 3D box kit for my spooky inspired creation. I though of creating a basket to put Halloween treats in for the visitors.

I first used the Tando stitches group mask and Andy Skinner's snake web mask with DecoArt white modeling paste and alternated the stencils while alternating pieces of the round 3D box.

I then put the round 3D box together, which was a bit tricky, but once a couple of the pieces were in, it was easy peasy to construct.

I added the Halloween wordsTando Minis skulls and pumpkins, the large cobweb and the spiders. I added DecoArt texture sand paste to the spiders and the Halloween words, then painted the whole thing with DecoArt black gesso.

I chose DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylic paints Cadmium Orange Hue, Blue Green Light and Green Gold to paint the box.
I continued to add the paint in sections until I was happy with the colours.

To finish, I dry brushed areas with DecoArt white gesso.

Thanks for popping by.
Toodles for now...
Lisa x

Some Spooky inspiration with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my Spooky Tando post!
Halloween is just around the corner. So making a couple of Halloween projects with  fantastic Tando products was just a must to do thing. As I made two of them : the Haunted house and a Spooky art page.

My TANDO  chipboard house  is  fully covered with stamped background images from
Inspired By Stamping and I just added a few stickers to finish this Halloween deco project.
So easy with Tando House shaped printers tray! So haunted and scarry!
The whole piece is inked with a mix of distress inks and misted with red mist (kind of a " blood" drops)

And now for the art page I made with some of the same stamps, but it's totally artistic.
This piece is layered with stencilled texture using Tando Creative stencils and DecoArt paints and texture paste.I used Cobweb 2 mask and also Giraffe mini mask.
The background is all stamped with Inspired by Stamping stamps from different sets  linked in a previous piece of art and then I added this Tando chipboard skeleton from Pair of Skeletons package painted with DecoArt paints and covered with Crackle Glaze.
My tip to those who make such a project: stamp  with pigmented  ink and heat emboss the images with clear powder. It looks a bit mute without the heat embossing.

Products used:
Stencils, chipboards- Tando Creative UK
Paints, mists, crackle medium, texture paste-DecoArt
Inks- Clearsnap
Embossing powders- WOW! Embossing Powders

Spooky Tag

Hi friends! Dana here today sharing a Halloween tag for the Spooky theme this week. I used a coffin from the Pair of Skeletons set as a sturdy base for this tag. I covered the chipboard with black crackle paint and then a layer of Stampendous Spoonful of Midnight. (This was the first time I used the Spoonful of Midnight and I absolutely love the multicolored sparkle! It will be hard not keep this wonderful medium off of all my projects!) I added a pop of color with some orange roses and green and purple leaves. I then topped the coffin with a skeleton.

I punched a hole in the top of the coffin and added a stenciled black cardstock tag under the coffin and a length of chain with a metal charm and Mini Skull to further embellish the top of the tag.

I finished this piece with a piece of bright purple lace and a spooky brad.

You can find the chipboard I used for this project, and a wonderful selection of Stampendous products, in the Tando Creative Retail Store.

Spooky by Dee

Hi everyone Dee here with my Spooky post for the team.
I started with the mini printer tray with a cover and applied a coat
of gesso.
Next I used bistre crystals and activated these with water
once happy I Stamped Andy's industrial stamp & the
words from Tim's Halloween stamps.
I applied a coat of soft touch varnish i followed this with aged mahogany
distress ink which i then covered in clear embossing powder
and heat set.
Next I stamped my fave of all Halloween stamps the
skull again i used the aged mahogany to simulate
blood.
I have used a lot of Tim Holtz stamps in this project. As you come into
the printer tray I coloured the base card the same way.
Again I cut out the signs and fit them into the printer
tray windows.
The clock was coloured the same way then crackle glaze was applied
over the face of the clock.
The soft touch varnish gives the cover of the tray a lovely
old leather feel and allows the corners to curl up.
Another close up including the spiders leg that was made using crackle
paste through a stencil and antiquing cream
Knocked back.
The corners were curled up and gold embossing was added
to the sides.
A close up of the spider.

That's it for today folks check out these printer trays they really are
brilliant for all sorts of projects. I hope you have enjoyed
my post today don't forget to let me know
what you think!
cheers Dee x
