Twit Twoo Tag!

Hi Gez here, Happy September everyone!

Where is this year disappearing too? I don't know!!

I am delighted to be sharing my tag with you today..

I started out by adding a layer of [White Gesso] to a plain greyboard [TAG].

Once dry I added a piece of torn scrapbook paper to add some texture to the background followed by layers of acrylic paint. Details were added to the background using the following masks..

(I stencilled through the stars..)

I left the background to dry and painted a [Curly Tree]

I then used some more of the same pattern scrapbook paper to decorate one of the [Whimisical Houses]

Once everything was dry I started to assemble the tree and owl onto the tag. Then decorated one of the [Owls]

Isn't it great how you can build up a collection of Tando chipboard and then create your own little scenes as everything mixes and matches perfectly..

Here is my finished tag ♥

Anything Goes Week

Hello!  I am kick-starting another 'Anything Goes' week.  These week are where we have free rein to add all those projects that don't fit into any other category :p  Today I have a 6x6 canvas for you...

I have used one of the delightful * curly trees* that come in a pack of two along with the  *hearts background mask* .   I spread *crackle paste* through areas of the mask onto the blank canvas.  When it was dry I added some *DecoArt paint (Cobalt Teal Hue, Primary Magenta & Hansa Yellow Light)* using a sponge.  The tree was coloured with the Primary Magenta and then coated with *crackle glaze*.  I added some teensy heart buttons from my stash.  The sentiments have been stamped onto tissue paper and attached with *matt medium*.

Thank you for taking a look today, do keep popping back for more projects and ideas, Karen x

Altered cd

Napkin decoupage on a cd ...decorated with this fab Tando curly tree and fence with the addition of a girlie created with an image from Lisas altered art and part of a stampotique stamp.

I used copic markers to colour the chippie pieces because layering them allows for shadows as seen on the fence and tree trunk.
