Winter Holidays with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Holidays post.
This time I am going to share a lovely frame made with Tando rectangle frame, stamped sentiment  and some simple stickers.
The chalkboard trend is still very popular, so I made my own chalkboard using Tando packaging as the base of this board and pigmented black ink as the paint for the packaging.
I  waited for the ink to be dry and then stamped the sentiment with white ink and white embossing powder.
The sides of this frame were embellished with Paper House puffy and die cut stickers.
So easy to make and so lovely!
You sure can do the very similar project for any Holiday. How about Valentine?  Paint the frame into pink/red; add Love sentiment  in the middle and add some hearts and flowers over the frame.
And so on and so on...

Winter Holidays with Lisa

Hi folks, Lisa here and welcome to my creation for Tando. Our theme this week is Winter Holidays.

This week I chose a plain (and lets face it, pretty boring)box to jazz up and alter.

Here is my creation...

I started with covering the box with a light teal blue DecoArt paint which I watered down a lot to create a washy feel. Then gave the lid of the box and the four sides a good coat with DecoArt Weathered Wood. Then I applied a coat of DecoArt Crackle Paint. By using both DecoArt products produces mega cracks, huge, HUGE cracks!!!

I then made a muddy browny grey colour wash, then went over it with Stazon Ganache to create more tones. I finished the box off by swiping over white Gesso with a dry tissue.

On to the decoration...

To decorate the box I used lots of Tando goodies.
I added DecoArt Sand Texture Paste to the snowflakes, wonky trees and on the wing and breast of the robins.

I then painted all the pieces and rubbed some metallic gold to the texture paste pieces. To finish, I went over all the bits with the Stazon Ganache ink.

I hope you like my Winter Holidays Box. If you would like to see it in more detail please visit my blog. I would love to hear your thoughts so leave a comment if you can.

Here are all the fantastic Tando goodies I used which are all available on the website.

Bling It Up - Chase Your Dreams ATC

Hi Tando fans! Dana here today sharing an ATC for the Bling It Up theme this week. I dressed up an Artist Trading Card with a coat of gold paint and a Gecko Galz clip art image. I then embellished the image with two Mini Stars that I colored with white acrylic paint and a top layer of Stickles.

I covered the entire card with a coat of Rock Candy Distress Stickles and then added some Texture Gems metallic dimensional paint dots for even more shimmer.

You can find the pieces I used for this project and more in the Tando Creative Retail Store! We'd love to see what you create for our Bling It Up Challenge! To be in with a chance of winning some great Tando goodies of your choice, please make a piece based on our weekly themes and link your project, not just your blog, using the inlinkz tool located at the top of the Tando Blog. Bling it up with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my Bling it Up post.
As we are close to Christmas, I am glad to share one of my Christmas projects and this time it's a blingy ornament.

I used Tando Round frame, painted in red paint as the base of this ornament, covered on the back with patterned paper and stamped over it Holidays image.
Then I covered Tando Star with tons of golden sparkle embossing powder. As the next step I added die cut trees and added even more glitter and red pearls over it.
It's hard to see how much glitter is over this project and it sure shine and bling!
Hope you liked my way to use Tando products to make your own ornaments. More ornaments are to be seen in  my next posts.

I die cut 2 trees and then glittered them with a mix of green and gold glitter.
Then both trees were arranged over the chipboard star and some red pearls were added as " ornaments".
