Use The Packaging

I'm kicking off this week and we are using the packaging that comes with the Tando goodies. I've used the black card that you get in the stencil sets for this card:

1. Cut the black card too size, use glitter medium through the -{Leaves 1 Stencil}- and leave to dry.

2. Use glitter medium through the -{Flourish Stencil}- onto the card blank, wiping it clean between uses so you don't get it where you don't want it.

3. Paint the butterfly and flowers from -{Mini Butterflies}- and -{Mini Flowers}- with acrylic paint, adding highlights as you go.

4. While everything dries, cut some patterned paper to size and use a border punch.

**The papers had the word 'Oh' on it, so I've used that in a circle punch and the 'Pretty' was in some coordinating stickers.**

5. Finish the whole thing off with doodles and glitter glue dots.

**All of the Tando products used here, plus a couple of others, will soon be on sale as card making kits from the Tando Store.**

July Colour Challenge With Lisa

Hello!!! Lisa here with July's colour challenge. And such a lovely selection of summer colours.

I decided to go flat this week after last weeks 'home sweet home' make.(It's here if you missed it)

I chose Tando's floral grab bag, grab bag of mini birds and minis butterflies.

I took a selection of Distress Inks - mermaid lagoon, peacock feathers, wild honey, rusty hinge, aged mahogany and picked raspberry, and randomly applied them on to white card.

I took two of the birds and two of the butterflies and glued them together to create thicker pieces. Along with the birds and butterflies, I grabbed a selection of the Tando flowers and painted them all white. Then I dry brushed gold metallic paint on some of the flowers.

I then added gold embossing powder lightly to areas and added a really thick layer to other parts. On the thicker areas of embossing, I stamped in to it with a Stampendous stamp.

Here are the bits I used from Tando, all available on the Tando Website.

July Colours

Hi Gez here, I am delighted to sharing a creation with you today for the colour theme this month.

What lovely colours.. I've actually muted them down with white Gesso and love the effect ♥

For this creation I am working on one 80mm x 116mm [Mixed Media Boards].

Mixed Media Boards 80mm x 116mm

Once the background was completely dried I stamped and embossed the Cityscape stamp by Stampendous onto the board and lightly coloured in some of the buildings. The sentiment is computer generated.

The heart embellishment was made using one of the hearts from the [Grab Bag of Hearts]

Painted blue then decorated with the oh, so WONDERFUL White [Frantage Jewel Kit] Once dry a thick layer of crackle enamel was added.. Bliss!

Recipe Week With Lisa

Goodly Morn' to you all. This weeks theme at Tando is 'recipe week'- use 1 embossing folder, 2 ribbons and 3 gems.

So, here is my creation...

I used the Tando Home Key Hanger Kit. This is a beautiful kit with three little 3D houses to build and decorate. You can have a lot of fun with this.

I chose the colour palette to match my hall way (he he he), a teal blue and brown with gold touches.

For the roof of each house, I embossed some thick card with an embossing folder, inked it, added some of the paint and a touch of gilding wax before attaching it to each house.

I then added 3 pearl gems to the front of each of the houses.
To finish, I added cream satin ribbon to hang the backboard and tided some blue organza ribbon round the cream ribbon knots.

Tando recipe week with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to our Tando recipe week.
This week we were asked to use  one embossing folder, 2 ribbons and 3 gems.
So here is my altered tag with all products on it.
For the tag I used one of TANDO packages'  inside pieces: each Tando product has this packaging " tag" as it's just a perfect product for recycling.
So this " tag" was dry embossed with Sizzix Tim Holtz Postcard embossing folder. Then I decided to add more texture and used Tando Alphabet mask with heavy gel medium for more almost non- seen texture.
Then this tag was painted with DecoArt Mixed Media line paints and highlighted with  gold paint.
Tando new  Rustic Star was painted over and embellished with metal pieces.

The bottom part was embellished with a piece of Tando  Lace effect border and then I added those three gems over it.
The ribbons were added on the top of this altered tag and as your see I made the title as Share Hope.
So share your own hopes and we all be happy!
