CAS balloon card

This week we are all about keeping it clean and simple, which makes me very happy. I do like a bit of CAS as it's nice and quick and that works for me at the moment.

I made this card:

I took the ~{Burning Rubber Mask}~ and masked off a section, then inked through it twice making a chevron.
Next I painted 3 balloons from the ~{Mini Balloons Pack}~ and painted them with Paperartsy Fresco paints. Once they were dry I doodled onto everything and added Glossy Accents to the balloons, then finished with a stamped greeting.

Best Mom: Anything goes week

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here again (as you can see I just have a lot of projects to share for this Free for all week)
and this time with my new card, made with Tando Creative mini printers tray as a main card point.

I covered the bare chipboard with Ranger green crackled paint and then added all stamped and hand cut roses (Sweet Stamps) over the " window".
No need to say that this chipboard piece made the whole card.

So if you are a cardmaker, this is my tip for you: use one  single  Tando Creative tray layer over your card and if will make it interesting and unique.

Anything Goes Funky card

I'm back again with another project as I've been making some samples for the Tando stand at the ~{Craft Barn's Extravaganza}~ next weekend. So here's a card I really loved making:

I used Adirondak Inkpads through the ~{Random Circles Mask}~ overlapping some to form the base and used Paperartsy Fresco paints on arrows from the  ~{Mini Arrows}~ pack and the top from one of the ~{Mini Christmas Stockings}~ pack. I'd love to claim it was my idea to use it as a crown, but I blatantly pinched it from ~{Di}~, but she let me so it's ok! I've added some Viva Decor Pearl Pen for jewels and doodled heftily on the chipboard pieces.

I've used a Stampotique stamp as his head fitted the crown the best! He was coloured with Copics and I've grounded him with a little bit of ink.

Finally, I added a computer generated greeting.

Free for All

is this weeks theme, and today its my (Carol's) turn to show you this:-

These are old pieces I made for a stint I did as a guest designer on a challenge blog.  Each piece is a piece of Tando Chipboard painted and embellished and then a large paperclip attached to make into bookmarks...

The first one's base is a twinchie, the second one is a button base with a mini butterfly and three mini flowers - all of these have been painted with distress paint.  The third is from the bottles grab bag and was coloured using distress ink and then a crackle glaze applied, the label is from my stash and a little pearl added for the lid....

Hexagon mini album: Anything goes week

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here and this week is our Anything goes week, so I will show you my new and small Hexagonal   mini album made with our delicious Tando Creative chipboards.

I used one single MME 6*6'' paper pad to make it in the same colours and just stamped a  lot over the paper. I also decided to mix the holes and to make it in a different places for more interest.
All stamps are from Inspired by Stamping company I design for and as I have a lot of them it was very easy to stamp all those quotes around and to leave a lot of white space to add some small photos later.

As you see- one chipboard Tando album, some stamps and one single paper pad make this small and gorgeous present.

The Owl & the Pussycat!

Hellooo!  This week we are having a 'Free For All' where we are showcasing non-themed makes.   am showing you one of the lovely Tando Boats that I have decorated.

I just love this 3D item.  It has layers to build up so you can make it into a photoframe or a boxframe, whatever takes your fancy.  Aren't those oars cute????  Here it is in all its naked glory :D

I have attached a small hook to the back to hang it up but it will stand on its own easily!

Thank you for looking today, HUgs, Karen xxx

Key to my heart

This week is an Anything Goes week, where we are showing what we've made that doesn't fit in with our weekly themes. I've made this card and tag duo:

I've taken two pieces from the ~{Small Heart Cogs Pack}~ and ran them through an embossing plate before painting them with Paperartsy Fresco paint in my fave Mermaid colour. I then took a dry brush and gently stroked Claret paint over the raised bits. And finally dabbed a silver encore inkpad onto the top.
I painted two hearts from the ~{Tando Mini Hearts Bag}~ and painted them with the Claret paint. Once that was dry, I added crackle accents and poked it before it was dry!!
Two keys from the ~{Tando Mini Keys Bag}~ were painted with silver acrylic paint and glued onto the chipboard.
I finished off with a row of hearts in ink through the ~{Hearts Background Mask}~ on the card.

Vintage layers

I went with a vintage photo for my page for today, and some of the beautiful flourishes Tando do.  I am used to layering on my pages but I haven't really played around with layering up the layers on my chipboard.
So here is the recipe - I started by covering it in a mushroom acrylic paint, then dried it, I then dry brushed white acrylic over the top - not so it was smooth - I kept it patchy.  I then used a newspaper stamp with archival ink and stamped all over it.  I decided that I need some blue to match my papers so I used a little bit of broken china distress ink and mixed it in with my white acrylic and again roughly brushed it over the top of the chippie just to dull the rather stark text.  Once I had done this I added some liquid pearl drops (just in case you don't know how to make this dome really nicely you need to flick them from underneath - so flick the paper or in this case my chipboard and it gives you a gorgeous pearl shape), this was still a little too pretty for me so whilst the liquid pearls were wet I sprinkled over some silver embossing powder, tapping the excess off .... so lots of layers.  It is great as the chipboard is very forgiving so even if you don't like the look of the effect you can just go over it again.

For you box: Vintage

Hello my dear crafty friends!
This is our Vintage week  and this is my take of our vintage project.
I made an altered oval box all full with Tando most gorgeous chiapboards, such as BOOK PLATE covered with 3 embossing powders layers for this distressed look. Then I added the title from Valentine set, heat embossed with one single colour, but with like 3 layers of it.

Mini leaves and flowers were heat embossed with a mix of powders and glued over this box with 3d foam glue.
I also added some bling over those lovely chipboard mini shapes to get this vintage and shiny look.
And here are the chipboards I used  for this project

Hope you like my box and see you again.

Vintage Tag

Happy Tuesday Tando fans!  Dana here today sharing a tag for the Vintage theme this week. When I think about vintage items, the first things that come to mind are pretty lace, old book pages, post cards and stamps, and sepia photos.  I tried to incorporate those items onto this tag, aging my new supplies with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

Living in the United States, it is not often that I receive packages stamped with the words "Royal Mail" with an image of The Queen!  I treasure my packages from Di for the fabulous chipboard that comes inside, but also for the postage!  I cut the stamp from the package and made a fancy frame using a piece from the Scalloped Nested Squares set, which I covered with a coat of white acrylic paint and glitter. I covered a piece from the Jewelry Heart Set with lace for a romantic embellishment.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Spring Colour card by Kaz

To finish up our Spring Colours week, I have made this card:

I've used part of the ~{Lace Effect Border}~ painted with Fresco paints and added a touch of extra colour using my fingertip.
I took 3 buttons from the  ~{Buttons Grab Bag}~ and painted them, then stamped using Stazon and layered them up with flowers and ribbon.
I used 2 masks for the stems and leaves - the ~{Stitches Group Mask}~ and a couple of leaves from the          ~{Bamboo Mask}~.

Spring Banner: Spring colors

Hello my dear crafty friends and Happy Spring to all of us!
Actually here in Israel  it's already mid- summer, but this is still what we call Spring and here is  my Spring colours project for this post: Altered Banners I love so much!

All background Tando shapes were misted and then inked around. The inner parts were  stamped with white  ink, heat embossed with white and I used resist technique to colour them just a bit .
Here are the close ups for the parts of this banner

And the middle one

And the last flag of this project

Spring is in the Air

I choose some spring-ish pictures to go with the spring coloured focus for this week.  I kept my page fairly clean, just played with lots of punching, so I coloured the Tando chippies with just my normal stamping inks, they take the colours really well.

The star embellishments starts with a tando button which I covered in blue, then added a paper circle and inked around the edges of one of the stars from the grab bag - I like to see a bit of the naked chipboard colour too in the centre.  So for my butterfly embellishment I used the same technique and just inked around the edge of the butterfly with one of my chalk inks (I used the cats- eye shaped ones as they make it easier to get into all the corners).

Spring Colors with Dana

Hi Tando fans!  Dana here today sharing a fun and colorful layout for the Spring Colors theme this week. I love to mix colors and patterns and had a lot of fun putting this page together.  I chose some of the Tando Mini Butterflies for embellishments. I decided to keep the butterflies natural, so they would stand out against the patterned papers and simply added some dry embossing for a bit of fun texture.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Clock-Tag

Hi, Caro is here. Today I have a clock tag for you ... I have used the great Clock Mask and 2 arrows of the Arrows Grab Bag.
