Summer Holiday - Ship Shape Tag

Hi Tando fans! Dana here today sharing an ocean themed tag for the Summer Holiday theme this week. I spent a lot of time sailing during the weekends of my Summer vacation as a child and this tag brings back some of those fun memories.

I painted the smaller anchor from the Anchor Set with white acrylic paint and added a bit of Distress Ink to the edges.

I added one of the smaller clouds from the Grab Bag of Clouds to my tag to create some depth to my scene.

Summer Holidays - Layout Boat

Hi friends, Caro is here today. I have created a layout of the last summer holidays where we were with a little boat on the sea. The chipboards I used are from "Rainbow and Elements". I have colored the clouds with Distress Stains and the sun with Distress Refiller and Perfect Pearls, so it's shimmering fine.

Hello my dear crafty friends!

Irit is here again and this is my Summer week project.

My new altered Mixed Media project made  with    WOW! EP stamps and powders and Tando Creative chipboards.

First I stamped the background with WOW!  stamps and heat embossed with black glitter  powder. Then I used gesso and Tando  mask for the orange- pink spots over the stamping. I added glitter powder over the wet gesso and heat embossed it till is was dry.
The chipboard Gate Tando piece was covered with  white glitter powder randomly, as I didn't want the perfect covered look.
Then I cut the gate into 2 halves and glued it over the stamped piece.
I altered resin flowers with a lot of emobossing powders and added to the gate piece on the right.
My altered arft piece was done.

Summer At the Beach

This weeks theme ties in with one of my favourite pages I've made with Tando goodies, it has loads of layers, starting with mists and the random circles mask, then texture paste and the distorted hive mask, then more mist and inking through the sequin waste mask.  I then added my layers of paper, and moved on to Tando chipboard pieces.  I used an arrow from the grab bag that had a square on the end, I cut this off so I could add a circle sticker to the arrow (which I covered in red ink and glossy accents), but I had to add the square left over piece too - so used it as a frame for a little acetate as an embellishment at the corner of my photo.  I also added a couple of Tando clouds that I covered in white ink.

"Pou-Poule !" - Summer Holidays

Hi Tando fans ! I'm sneaking in very last minute here this morning before leaving for a few days hols, playing with you along the new Tando's theme this week...: Summer Holidays. 
For the occasion I made a funny tag I really love !! 

For my tag I used a flower Foam Stamp from Donna Downey on the background with several layers of paints and Gesso on it !; some Stampotique stamps I love, and my Tando masks Sequin Waste and Dotted Star designed by teammate Kaz, I highly recommend you as it offers many possibilities !!!. I used this latter to highlight in Snowflake white paint all the edges at the end.  

And what's about the theme of Summer holidays, could you say ??... I was really inspired by "Pou-Poule !", a children's book borrowed by my twins at our public library. I loved the story of this young lovesick hen... Pou-poule is an adorable chick with a sweet heart ! So first, the ground on book's cover is colored in a warm and summery orange... And Secondly, this book... Reading... I take time to read books only during Summer Holidays ! (hem... I know it's not enough, but how could I have time to read with all my crafty works planned for Tando now Arghhh LOL!) 

I don't resist to show you the true Pou-Poule, as she has largely inspired my work haha !!!

Hearts and Swirls

I went all out on hearts for this page, all the paper ones are hand cut from a template I made!  Tando has loads of lovely heart shaped product and one of my favourites is the heart mask.  I used some chalk ink and a sponge, and sponged the top 4 rows blue, then the middle green and the bottom yellow so you get a mix of colours through the mask.  I then layered up all my hand cut hearts.  I also used a heart button, covered in gesso and then sprayed with yellow cosmic shimmer mist just in the corner to give another two tone effect.
