Black and White House

Hello, its Karen here!  Crafty work is in full swing again everywhere and  am no exception :-D  Today I am bringing you some Tando...a little house!  Our theme this week is Black and White which is quite nice after all the colours of Christmas!!!!  The photo really doesn't do this justice as there is a 'little' sparkle on it ...

The house has been painted and stamped.  The roof has a little medium spread through a Tando mask before painting and embossing.  I can see, looking at it now,  that there is more that I could have done with it to be honest.  \sorry about that!  Its the 1st time I have ventured into popping things onto cotton reels and I did have a bit of fun with it and that's what counts isn't it?  These houses come in a pack of 3 and are a bargain at just over £2.  When made up the one above has a base of around 1" square to give you an idea of size.  Here is the nekkid look...

Thank you for popping by.  Please come back and see some more, HUGS xxx

Black & White - Puppy Love Layout with Dana

Hi Tando fans! Dana here sharing a layout for the Black and White Theme this week. I used several of my favorite pieces of Tando Creative chipboard as well as a mask on this page that features an old photo of my Grandmother.

In addition to the lines, my piece of patterned paper also has splatters of color. I played up the random circle design by using the Random Circles Mask as a stencil. I traced around the mask on several areas of my page and colored the design with a black marker.

I added some fluffy clouds for  touch of whimsy. I covered several pieces from the Grab Bag of Clouds with pearl mica flake.

I colored a piece from the Camera Grab Bag, added a pearl and then a coat of glaze for a bit of shine.

I had the base leftover from my Heart Cog Pendant set, and because it was cut from white lined board, only added a light coat of black ink around the edges.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

A couple of other Christmas Cards

Hello friends, Tando's followers and visitors! At first, Happy New Year!!! I hope that 2014 brings you health, happiness, creativity of course and all the the good things you may wish....
I have two new christmassy cards today for you, with the same Adorable Christmas Angel stamp from Crafty Individuals I used for the last card I showed you. On the first one, I put my very first embellishment made using my melt pot. This is the first time I had actually used my Melt Pot, don't ask me why I don't know why myself! It's great fun and I love the texture and dimension such enamelled piece gives to a project, in complement to some Tando's chippies ready for use. Be careful if you combine UTEE and stamps, don't forget to ink your stamp with VersaMark Ink before pouring melted UTEE, that will prevent any enamel sticking on your stamp.
On this first card, I used a single Brush Stroke medium tree as an embellishment of choice in addition to my enamelled piece of art! This tree was a remaining one from my previous card, and it was so easy to put it back to this new card for extra dimension.

The second one is a simple card, made in the hurry with the leftover paper of my poinsettias die-cuts. Quick and easy to do, but sometimes the less is more, and I think this card is beautiful in its simplicity, isn't it?.. As a unique embellishment I have added at the bottom right side a mini sleigh from the Mini Santa's Sleighs grab bag, just covered with silver Glitter.

I used:

Tando Mini's Brush Stroke Trees

Tando Mini's Santa Sleighs

Thanks for stopping by! Hoping your New Year brings you Joy! Hugs, Coco xx
