Anything Goes - Industrial Layout

Hi friends! Dana here today sharing a layout that I created for the Anything Goes theme this week. It has been awhile since I have created a larger project. I wanted to use a new paper line so the theme this week was a great opportunity to play. My favorite piece of paper from the collection features an industrial factory blueprint, and I had a lot of fun cutting and layering pieces of paper from that design and embellishing it with chipboard from the Andy Skinner Industrial Elements Set.

I painted the chipboard with a mix of Distress and acrylic inks. Then, I added a layer of Distress Rock Candy Stickles. Once the chipboard pieces were dry, I added a bit more grudge with some Black Soot Distress Ink before gluing the pieces together. The Industrial Elements Set is a fantastic mix of over 100 cogs, washers, door plates, book plates, bolt heads and screw heads in various sizes, so I have a lot left to work with.

You can find the Industrial Elements Set that I used for this layout in the Tando Creative Retail Store! We'd love to see what you create for our Anything Goes Challenge! To be in with a chance of winning some great Tando goodies of your choice, please make a piece based on our weekly themes and link your project, not just your blog, using the inlinkz tool located at the top of the Tando Blog. You don't have to use any Tando product, but, if you do, you will be entered into the draw twice! There are no limits to how many times you enter, however, we do request that you only enter your piece for 5 challenges. We look forward to seeing your creations!

Anthing Goes - One Heck of a Good Time Layout

Hi Tando fans! Dana here today sharing a fun Summer layout for the Anything Goes theme this week. I recently took a vacation to my family lake house. My brother and sister also brought their families. It is not often that we can all get together. We took these photos of the kids on top of their new toy, a go-kart supplied by Grandpa. The older kids had a blast driving up and down the beach! Once the excitement died down, we were able to bribe them with ice cream to pose for a couple of pictures!

I built up layers of patterned paper and a journaling tag to form a colorful photo mat for my larger picture. I then adhered it on top of a medium-sized clock, from the 3 Clocks in 1 Set, that I stained with black mist.

I selected some stars from the Grab Bag of Mini Stars and colored them with red ink and glued them around the page for some bright accents.

You can find this chipboard and more in the Tando Creative Retail Store! We'd love to have you join the Anything Goes Challenge! To be in with a chance of winning some great Tando goodies of your choice, please make a piece based on our weekly themes and link your project, not just your blog, using the inlinkz tool located at the top of the Tando Blog. Anything Goes - Brothers Layout

Hi Tando fans! Dana here today sharing a layout for the Anything Goes theme this week. I had a blast making this page as a gift for my Sister's friend with the help of a sketch by Kristine Davidson. I have two daughters, so I'm thrilled when I get to scrap some boys, especially when they are this adorable!

I cut a portion of the Square Grid and painted it with acrylic paint to add some fun dimension under the photo.

I had fun inking up pieces from the Grab Bag of Stars to use as colorful embellishments.

You can find this chipboard and more in the Tando Creative Retail Store! We'd love to have you join the Anything Goes Challenge! Stenciled Layout - Yesterday by Dana Tatar

Hi Tando fans! Dana here today sharing a layout for the Stencil theme this week. I used the Stripes and Giovanna Spiral stencils with Dylusions Spray to quickly create a colorful background for this page. I saved a birthday card for the cool Beatles overlay and finally used it on a project with some of my favorite lyrics from the song "Yesterday." I finished the page with some cardstock stickers, acrylic frames and a doodled border.

Anything goes with Irit

 Hello my dear crafty friends!
I know that we all are deep into Holidays, but I just have a few projects I made lately and never posted in Tando blog. And as I used lovely new Tando products, I decided to share them even if those are not Holidays projects at all.
This is the first one- lovely very simple layout made with masking and stamping over the painted chipboard title. (Also the whole background is stamped and colored, but it's not Tando issue for this matter).

Those are the products used here:

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

Great outdoors with Tando

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here and this time I am back to my primary love: scrapbooking.
I got those Tando chippies for along time and never found the way to use them. Until I found those Paper House Productions themed paper and this lovely squirrel photo I took about 2 years ago during our vacation. And now my Tando chipboards were rescued and finally used. I  painted them to this Burnt Sienna colour to fit the paper range and added Tando letters title made with Gelatos watercolours. All painted pieces were heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

I hope you like my use of those gorgeous Tando chippies  over scapbooking page.
See you soon again!

Anything goes for April

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to Tando Anything goes week.
This  is my " Anything" project and this time I just used Tando fantastic new release masks  over my themed beach layout.

I used textured paste over this delicious new mask and then added a lot of distress inks to make it a part of my background paper. This mask really looks like a sunburst and is really versatile. It's modern design that can be used over  the numerous kind of projects and is a MUST TO HAVE Tando product!
I am sure I will use this mask over and over and so should you!
Our new Tando retail on- line store is just around the corner and you will be able to buy Tando products on- line in a very short time!

Black & White - Puppy Love Layout with Dana

Hi Tando fans! Dana here sharing a layout for the Black and White Theme this week. I used several of my favorite pieces of Tando Creative chipboard as well as a mask on this page that features an old photo of my Grandmother.

In addition to the lines, my piece of patterned paper also has splatters of color. I played up the random circle design by using the Random Circles Mask as a stencil. I traced around the mask on several areas of my page and colored the design with a black marker.

I added some fluffy clouds for  touch of whimsy. I covered several pieces from the Grab Bag of Clouds with pearl mica flake.

I colored a piece from the Camera Grab Bag, added a pearl and then a coat of glaze for a bit of shine.

I had the base leftover from my Heart Cog Pendant set, and because it was cut from white lined board, only added a light coat of black ink around the edges.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Easter Projects - Happy Easter Layout

Hi Tandoettes!  Dana here today sharing a layout for the Easter theme this week. Tando has some fabulous new Easter themed chipboard pieces! I used some Mini Rabbits and a bow from the Mini Easter Eggs set on this page.

There are several fun rabbit designs in the Mini Rabbit Set.  This leaping rabbit is my favorite.  I colored him with a simple coat of acrylic paint. I added another rabbit to the flower pattern printed in the lower left-hand corner of this page.

This little bow is from the Mini Easter Egg set. I also colored this piece with acrylic paint and topped that with a thin coat of Stickles.
