June Colour Theme

Hi everyone, Gez here, excited to be joining the Tando Creative Design Team.

Today I am sharing a tag I've created using one of the {Mixed Media} boards and the hot colour theme for June.

The background was created using acrylic paints and oil pastels.

The cute {Tando Mini's - Owls} were treated to a spot of texture paste to hopefully resemble feathers along with {Trees and Leaves mask}. It was such a shame to cover up so many of the green leaves!

I hope you enjoy using the colour theme as much as I did!

Home Arch

I've made an arch for the colour theme this week:

I randomly painted a ~{Gothic Arch}~ using a combination of  DecoArt's ~{Media Fluid Acrylics}~ and DecoArt White Chalk Finish Paint, then soaked and peeled a ~{Cloud Tree}~ and when it was dry, painted it and stuck it to the arch.

I also painted a house from the ~{Mini House and Fences Pack}~ and stuck that in place. Everything has been doodled on (of course).

I added 'home' to finish it off.

June Color Challenge - Beach Hut Mixed Media Board

Hi Tando fans! Dana here today sharing the beach themed mixed media board I created for the Color Challenge this week. I used Ranger paint dabbers to add color to a Mixed Media Board. I then added a fun image and some dimensional paint. I used the same paint dabbers on a Mini Beach Hut and number from the Arthur Number Set. I attached the hut to the board and finished it with a touch of glitter. I'm ready for dinner on the beach!

Colour Theme Week - Large Arch

HI Everyone,

I'm here today to show you my June colour theme make.

I had a play with the fabulous large straight edged arch. This comes in a pack of 2, each with three parts - the base, the frame and the frame centre (I'll show you what I did with the centre next week).

I started by adding the circles, which came from the round grid to the frame, once dry this, and the base, were primed and painted with acrylics. I used a  texture stamp from my stash and stamped randomly on the base with a coordinating acrylic paint. A crackle stamp was used to add some more detail to the frame too. I then stippled the 2 base acrylic colours carefully onto the circles on the frame to tie the piece together.
Octopode Factory's Cheshire cat  and a sentiment were stamped and added to the arch to finish.

MDF BOOKCASE

Hello!  Have you had a good browse through all the recent new products *HERE*?  If you have you may have noticed this very gorgeous little MDF  bookcase!  It is shown with CD's but wouldn't it be cute for little children's books?  Or in the bathroom?  Or kitchen?  Or craft room?  I just love it and had to have one to decorate using this months colour theme.

I have crackled it up using the dark blue as the base with the stone over the top.  The flowers & leaves were stamped onto painted paper, cut out and added to the pre stamped bookcase.
