Anything goes with hearts….

Hello, Carol with you today to share my anything goes piece.

As its Valentines tomorrow I decided to use the new substrates and mega heart packs to create this:-

All painted with red acrylic and finished off with stamping, doodling and a stamped sentiment.

Hope you all have a lovely Valentines day tomorrow.

The new flexi spine mini album

Hi it's Brenda here and with an 'Anything Goes' week I am taking the opportunity of showing you how I decorated one of Di's new mini albums which are being released at Stitches next weekend.
This is a fabulous little mini with a flexible spine that just bends to create the whole album in one.
Take a look at the photos to see what I mean.

 I created a panel for the front cover and used some of the brand new Andy Skinner stamps

I used the slots in the spine to sew my pages in ....

 .... and have dipped a piece of fabric in watery paints to create the tie.

This is a fantastic small mini that just feels so comfortable and cute when holding it in your hands and Di has also made an mdf stand that can be decorated and will hold quite a few of these which will look fabulous on a shelf. I'm sure someone will post one of these on here soon.
Keep a look out for these in the Tando shop, at about 3 1/4 inches square they are going to be fantastic for making little gifts for friends and photo albums for family members and if you want to see how I did my pages then pop over to Bumblebees and Butterflies to see a few more photos.

Have a great week.

Frames and Leaves with Lisa

Hi Folks, Lisa here and welcome to my post for Tando Creative. The theme this week is "Frames and Leaves".

Here is what I created...

I used the Tando Arabian Style Layered Arch Frame as a base. I attached all the outside frame pieces together and applied a coat of white gesso to the frame and the background piece.

I then used the Tando bubbles mask and DecoArt white modelling paste on the background of the frame

I used DecoArt texture sand paste on the inside of the frame and crackle paint on the outside. I also added some to the leaf flourish and the tall leaves.

I used DecoArt Premium acrylic paints to paint the frame and the leaves.

I painted some paper flowers using the paint to add some more colour.

Thanks for popping by my blog post, leave a comment if you like, I love to hear your thoughts.
Toodles for now,
Lisa xxx

Frames and Leaves week with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to our Tando Frames and Leaves week.
This week I made an altered Mixed Media project using a lot of Tando chipboards and even used the leaves negative as my background.
Sometimes the negatives are really nice as the background if we use the whole piece and then add the leaves over it.
Under the chipboard background I used Tando stencil to make texture of a kind of a dark wood.
The frame was covered with DecoArt Crackle paint and then some DecoArt Media line paints were added over to color the frame.
All Tando leaves were painted with a mix of DecoArt paints and the only other thing that was added are these green and gold berries.

Leaves and Frames... and a few flowers!

Hello!

This week on the Tando Creative blog the theme is leaves and frames so I decided to decorate one of the shadow frames with the mini leaves and flowers...

I wanted to go for a bright and fairly simple look using acrylic paints for the colours...

The 4 x 4 Leaves 1 stencil was used with structure paste on the base for a bit of extra texture...

The pieces were all finished with some gold gilding wax and finally a sentiment from an IndigoBlu set...

These are the products used...

* Shadow Frame
* Minis - Leaves 2
* Minis - Flowers
* Leaves 1 Stencil

Thank you for taking a look, happy crafting!

Leaves and Frames

Hi!  It's Monday and the beginning of another theme.  This week we are mixing it up using leaves with frames (both Tando) .  Here is my contribution...

I have used one of the *PRINTER TRAYS* for my project and added a variety of leaves.  We have a lot of choice available for anyone who loves nature!  For my printer tray I chose the *LEAF FLOURISH* to go over the top edge. Them a few leaves from the *MINI LEAVES 3* and of course a tree from the *FIR TREES SET* .  They have all been painted in various greens and then had a thin layer of  *CRACKLE GLAZE* added. To add a bit more interest I have included some bits from a pine cone and some dry moss.

Thank you for taking a peek today, take care, Karen x
