Hellooooo, I am kicking off this *Domino* week with an altered photograph frame. One of those cheapy 5x7inch wooden frames! With the greyboard domino's being so reasonable priced at 10 for £1.40 you could afford to do this with lots of frames as gifts.
The wooden frame was painted in a matching colour before I glued the domino's to various matching papers. They were cut out and glued around the frame. You could leave it at this point and pop a photograph in :-D But I decided to make it into a picture so I disgarded the glass into the recycle bin.
The card that was behind the glass was painted in blues and greens before adding *weathered wood* then white acrylic to form the lovely crackly finish. The stamp has been paper pieced and painted before attaching. I then added the word *Reflect* which is one of the many words that Tando cut.
Thank you for looking today and do leave a comment as we do love to see them, take care, Karen xxx

Colour theme - July
Hi, it's Karen here with another in my set of 12 twinchies using this months colour theme. I have kept it very simple and just made an abstract pattern. This will sit nicely with the other more complicated twinchies that I have done.

July colour week
Hello, Carol with you today to share with you my take on this months colour palette.
So, July's colours are:-
I am currently using the colour palettes each month to build up 12 mixed media boards, so that at the end of the year I have a lovely record of where my crafting is at that time and also a record of the gorgeous colours we have here at Tando… so, here is mixed media board number 7…
The base is the mixed media board 74mm x 138mm, which was given a coating of DecoArts tinting base. Using DecoArt media paints in Quinacridone violent, yellow oxide (both used neat and mixed with titan buff) and napthinol red light… I added texture to my base. Using the same paints and a bird from the whimsical bird 1 set I created my centre point. A sticker sentiment finished it off.
Thank you for looking today, please pop back during the week to see some more colour themed projects.

Using Spray Inks with Lisa
Hello lovelies, Lisa here with today's post for Tando.
This week we have been playing with spray inks and I decided to break out my collect of Tattered Angels sprays.
Here is what I created...
I used the Tando Compendium kit from Andy Skinner which is a brilliant kit containing an MDF baseboard and a fantastic selection of greyboard cogs, a clock face, washers, screws heads, nuts and bookplates.
I first played with gluing all the greyboard pieces together as they can be used on their own or layered on top of each other to make 3D pieces.
While the greyboard pieced were drying, I applied some DecoArt Crackle Paint and Texture Sand Paste to the MDF baseboard and left to dry. I then adhered all the greyboard on top of the MDF base.
Then I started spraying!!!!
I used Tattered Angels Baseboard sprays in Ivory, Lava and Gravel, Chalkboard Seven Seas, Simply Sheer in Shade and Glimmer Mists in Dragonfly, Merlot Gold, Pearl, Rolling Tide and Old Penny.
Thanks for popping by the blog today. Leave a comment if you wish, I love to hear your thoughts.
Toodles for now,
Lisa xxx

Spray Ink Week - Pretty in Pink by Hannah Oxberry
Hi all, so it's spray inks and paints week on Tando Creative. Spray inks and paints are a great way of adding a pop of colour to background layers. To this end, I decided to try something a little more colourful than my normal offerings.
The tag project features a decoupage background, layered with script and sheet music. Spray acrylic paints from DecoArt in Turquoise and Magenta add a great burst of colour. Due to their nature the patterns from the paper layers below still show though.
A greyboard heart from Tando Creative introduces the feature element, this too has been decorated in decoupage papers and DecoArt One Step Crackle - the crackles exaggerated using DecoArt Antiquing Cream in Carbon Black. A butterfly in matching colours to the spray paints has been added.
Spray acrylic paints add such a fun element to designs. Why not try them out and share your designs in the Tando Creative Zone.

Spray ink
Hi everyone Dee here with my make for this weeks spray ink I have done a Canvas using powertex which I have being dying to get my hands on for quite some time and Tando circles and bubbles stencil. I started by dipping the cloth into powertex (bronze) then arranging it onto the canvas then once dry I took a Andy skinners bubbles stencil and just put circles in random places I used a glitter gel for these It doesn't matter what you use as you can't see it once finished.
A few art stones and twigs were used to form the centre piece this was all given a coat of powertex to hold it. once dry a lot of dry brushing with gesso, Finally I used bister in blue and brown on the edges and the centre panel. I tripple embossed a Tando circle along with three washers as the size was perfect for the smaller circle stamp.
I framed the entire piece using the same spray inks & I used powertex 3D flex. I decorated this with the same spray inks as the main canvas.
I hope this has showed how versatile the Tando pieces are and how you can incorporate them into your art projects.
Thanks for popping by Cheers Dee. x

Spray Inks/Paints Fiona Randall
Morning all Fiona here with my take on this weeks prompt. I chose to go with making my own spray paints using DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics. I decorated two Artist Trading Coins which seem to be all the rage at the moment.
I gave both coins a basecoat of Media Tinting base. Them into two mini mister bottles filled with water I added Media fluid acrylics in both Cobalt Teal Hue and Quinacrodone Gold. I spritzed and sprayed the coins drying between layers until I was happy with the result. Stamping with Archival Ink and Andy Skinners Texture Stamp set came next.
Next step was to apply Washi Tape, A paper strip, Vintage child and a sentiment to finish. These are so quick and easy to create and fun too. I hope you give it a go.
Thanks for stopping by
Hugs Fiona.
