Craft Stamper Week with Jane

Hello!

I am here today on the Tando Creative blog to share with you the project that I decorated as part of the Design Team article for Craft Stamper Magazine...

I decided to use my box as a double gift box and as the magazine is the November edition I decided to go with a blue and crackly theme.  I used crackle paint and weathered wood as the base to create an aged look and also the Tando diamond mini stencil with crackle paste for even extra texture.

The colour was created using a range of blues from the Decoart Media fluid acrylics, watered down to be make washes of colour...

Stamping was added for extra detail and then I created the butterflies with a stamp and paint which were finished off with some glitter and liquid glass.

For the inside I wanted to create some gifts for the boxes so made two key rings to match the theme of the outside...

You can read about all the projects in the latest copy of Craft Stamper (November Edition) which is available now - http://www.mags-uk.com/ http://www.pocketmags.co.uk/ and in other good retailers.

Thank you for looking,

CRAFT STAMPER WEEK!

Hello everyone!  The Tando team are delighted that we are featured in November's issue of THE CRAFT STAMPER!  We were all sent the same substrate to work with so it will be very interesting to see how different they all are!  To be honest it doesn't have a name (as yet) but it is a fun piece!!!!

I am kicking off with mine and I have turned it into a Post-It note holder, although they are diddy!

Lots of Weathered Wood Crackle going on! And open....

The two little Post-It note holders...

Thank you for looking .  Please pop back to see what the others have made with their thingummy.

Take care , Karen xxx

Colour theme week- autumn journal cover by Monika

Hello October!
It's colour theme week. I've decided to decorate a journal cover this time.

I've started with cutting a maple shape leaf out of the greyboard leftover, slightly distressed the edges, painted it with acrylic paints  and stamped it with sentence stamp. Then I've added words and little heart.

Journal cover was painted, stamped and I've added some interest by using Texture Sand Paste and paint splatters.

Size 6 tag was covered with embossing powder and once heated I've pressed a texture stamp on to the surface and added some paint around the edges.

I hope you like my inspiration.

See You next time
x
