Product Focus - Steampunk Clock and Hands - by Zoë Sanderson

Hi, just a quick visit from me today sharing this Steampunk Clock and Hands for Halloween.

For this project I simply applied layers of paint.  Base coat Black Gesso to all the Tando Chipboard part.  Then the main Cog Cloak face over dry brushed with purple, dry brushed because it gives a rougher patchy finish with lots of the black still visible.   Over the now dry painted surface DecoArt Crackle glaze was applied, once again this was in patches not even overall coverage.

The hands had also been painted black as had the little cog to go on top.  The hands were each given just one brush stroke of a silvery paint, the last of the paint on the brush has been discharged onto the base cog. while the top of the cog treated in much the same way with a brassy colour.   These parts were then layered and glued to the together on top of the base cog.

The Halloween Candle is a Chocolate Baroque stamp which has been coloured with Chameleon pens then fussy cut.
