Scrapbooking Pretty in Pink

Hello, its Karen here today with something 'Pretty in Pink'.  I have made a very simple scrapbook page using a gorgeous photo of my gorgeous niece, Millie.

For the background I used Andy Skinners mask - SUNBURST and Fresco paint.  It looked a bit stark so I put the mask back and added dabs of white over the top.  The BLOCK FLOURISH is a favourite of mine and is reduced at the moment!  You get 2 in a pack!!!!  I have decorated it in the same way as the background.  Both of these are available on our new RETAIL SITE.  Some lace and wording finish the page off.

Thank you for popping by and do keep visiting for more inspiration, Take Care, Karen x

Pretty in Pink - Wooden Heart

Hi there!
I don't know if anyone knows this but I do love Pink!
Saying that though, this wooden heart isn't massively pink but there is a hint of pink underneath the white!

This home decor item started off as plain wooden hearts.  I painted each heart pink with chalk paint, then painted over the pink with white chalk paint.  I then rubbed the hearts with sandpaper to take some of the white paint off so you can see some of the pink underneath.

Cogs Group mask
I then used the Tando Creative Cogs Group mask on the hearts with Viva Decor Ferro Iron paste and left to dry for a while.  This created a nice raised effect as the application was quite thick.

Pretty in pink with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit us here again and this time with my Pretty in Pink project.
It's sure pink and it's pretty and it's wearable piece of art and I like it as is: to wear and enjoy.
I inked the inner part background with pink ink , stamped a few backgrounds with black ink ,  heat embossed the outer part with light pink powder and added some pearls and the ribbon.

For the stamping I used Ann Butler's made in Unity Faux Quilting stamp sets  and Ann Butler's Crafters Ink from Clearsnap in Berry color.

And this is Tando piece used for this project

Grey and Black - Stenciled Canvas

Hi, Caroline here with my take on the Grey and Black theme! :)

I used two Tando Creative masks - Spiral by Giovanna Zara and Random Circles.

Spiral
Random Circles

Using grey fabric ink I inked the Spiral stencil onto a circular piece of canvas.  I then did some free-motion stitching following the design and then heavily beaded the whole design.  I sewed it onto a larger square canvas piece and added some circles using the Random Circles mask and sewed around each of these circles using white cotton and scattered some seed beads through the panel.

I then added the whole piece to an 8"x8" plain canvas using permanent spray adhesive and some stitching!

Black and Grey Wavy Gothic Arch

This month's colour scheme of black and grey had me stumped for a while, until I was making the ~{chipboard stamps}~ and I thought the punched circles looked like eyes, so I made this:

I've painted a ~{Wavy Gothic Arch}~ with black acrylic paint and then used one of my chipboard stamps to stamp a grey wall effect on the bottom. I punched 2 circles from ~{Grid Round}~ using the Crop o Dile and painted them white. They have been stuck on and I've added doodling with white pen (Uni Posca - best pen ever) and a pc generated quote that I got on Pinterest.
