Firstly...as this is my first post of 2019 I wanted to wish you all happy and creative New Year :)

I'm happy to share this amazing project that I have decorated for Tando Creative show at Hochanda, that was showcased back in December.

You can find stencils and covers at Tando shop. There are many to choose from and they come with  greyboard protective covers that can be decorated as you like.

I have decided to do all of the sides in different style, but rusty look was definitely my favourite.

 For this project I have used Decoart Media Fluid Acrylics in: Quinacridone Gold, Metallic Silver, Paynes Grey

Stencil Covers by Kaz

It's my turn today to show the sample I made for the stencils for Hochanda.

The {Stencils and Covers} are available individually allowing you to pick which ones you'd like.

I used the {Numbers} and {Rings} with some {white modelling paste}. Once dry, I gave it a coat of {white gesso} and then went to town with paints, pens and stamps.

HOCHANDA Stencil Week

Today on the Tando Creative blog I am sharing the stencil covers that I made using the new long stencils that Di brought to HOCHANDA back in December...

To decorate the covers I used two of the new stencils, Keep Out and Barbed Wire. 
To create the rusty effect I used Decoart texture sand paste through the stencils plus extra paste around the edges. 
Once this had dried I painted them with silver fluid acrylic then used a range of yellow, brown and quinacridone gold to make the rust colour.
Finally I added a bit more barbed wire with a stamp by Andy Skinner and archival ink.

Hochanda Stencils- Fiona Randall

Good Morning all I am delighted to be sharing a project with you today that were shown on the craft television channel Hochanda back in December on Tando Creative's shows.

One of the new products Tando showcased is a set of stencils with their own grey board covers which you can personalize to your own individual style using Paints, Mediums, Inks, Stencils the choice is yours and the possibilities are endless and all held together with a sturdy metal bookring.  I used DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylic Paints, Andy Skinner Stamps and of course two of the new stencils to personalize my covers and I love how they turned out

January Colour ATC

I'm aiming to try and do more art this year, so what better than do things for the design team I'm meant to be a part of! I'm doing the monthly colour challenges for a start and I'm going to do a series of {Artist Trading Coins}:

I started by using {White Modelling Paste} through the {Flourish Mini Mask} and when dry, {white gessoed} over the whole thing. 

I then added layers of paint until I was happy (it took a bit, I'm out of practise). I finished with doodles, a stamped image and some words from a book.

Morning all, Fiona here with a bit of Christmas Sparkle to inspire you. I've stepped outside my comfort zone yet again and used GLITTER. But it had to be black glitter for me.

 

 

 

I was inspired to make a Christmas bauble so I went to my go to Tando grab bag of circles. I sorted the sizes needed and gave them all a coat of DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylic in carbon Black. Once dry all circles  and a medium sized snowflake were given a coat of DecoArt  Americana Deco-Page glue matte and then a generous amount of black glitter was added. The excess was then dusted off. All circles were the edged with DecoArt Metallic Lustre in Burnished Brass. Three Tando Snowflakes ( the large snowflake was specially cut by Di for me ) were then given a coat of DecoArt Extreme sheen Metallic in Vintage Brass. Once dry the large snowflake was then stamped with a text stamp from Andy Skinners Textures Stamp set. All three brass snowflakes edges were then inked with black Archival ink.

Now to assemble the piece. All circles were laid face down and lined up. Then to attach them all together to form a complete piece a coffee stirrer stick ( the ones you get in the coffee shops) was glued to the back of the circles in a complete length from top to bottom. All three snowflakes were then layered onto the large centre circle using grey board offcuts to give depth and dimension . The tiny snowflake was added to the bottom small circle and a tassel added to finish.
