Love Plaque- Fiona Randall

 Morning All.

The theme this week on the Tando Blog is LOVE.

Using my go to supply of Tando Grey Board I created a little layered plaque with a Tando Heart as the focal Element. Some background stamping with a Chocolate Baroque Stamp and Transfer Foiling applied ( something new I am exploring). finished off with some string and a metal key wrapped around the heart, before layering onto some offset straws.
Not my Normal I know but I am continually challenging myself to try new things.

Love & Hearts Theme Week - with Nikki K.

Morning everyone,

Today I'm sharing a tag made for the 'Love & Heart's' theme week.  I thought I'd go with the 'secret admirer' slant,  because if I have any, they are definitely secret!!

I put some modelling paste through a stencil, onto the Tando tag.  This was then given a coat of grey paint that I mixed with Tinting Base and Carbon Black paint.  I covered that in White Antiquing Cream, and rubbed back to give depth to the background.  Some red and black stamping in paint finished this off.

The Tando heart was painted in Red, and stamped.  Over this I put a layer of Crackle Glaze.

A book plate, numbers, bolts and nuts were painted in rust colours, and a sentiment stamped for the book plate.

I added rusty wire to the top of the tag, and shaped the top like a little rustic heart.  I didn't glue the heart down, so it moves as you move the tag, which is quite nice.

Hope you like it and can join the rest of the team this week for more inspiration.

Best Wishes,

Nikki K.

Love and Hearts- Fiona.

Morning all Fiona Here with a Love and Hearts themed Artist Trading Block.

I die cut the block with Tando Grey Board and assembled. Embossed wood grain watercolour cardstock was given a wash of media fluid acrylic then the grain texture highlighted with a distress crayon and then cut to size and attached to all four sides and top of the cube. Tando Grey board Hearts and the Faceted Heart die once assembled were then Given the Rusty treatment with DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics in Paynes Grey and Quinacrodone Gold Then edged with a black Archival Ink Pad. The Hearts were then attached to sturdy Florists wire of Varying lengths before being inseted into the block. Hemp Twine was then wound around the wires and finished with a bow with ends frayed for a rustic feel. The base was created by using two Tando Grey Board circles attached to a piece of cardboard tubing cut to size to create a bobbin. This was then painted with DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylic in Raw Umber and Hemp Twine wound around the bobbin before gluing to the cube. To finish Scrabble Tiles were edged in Potting Soil Archival Ink and then attached in place on the block.

Floss-Wrapped Heart ATC

Hi! Dana here today sharing the artist trading card I created for the Love and Hearts theme this week. I covered an ATC with a piece of patterned tissue paper and then added a small amount of DecoArt White Gesso with a spatula. Once dry, I added a couple drops of blue mist, a doodled border in red marker, some yellow string, a patterned paper sentiment, and a smudge of clear crackle medium.

I topped this piece with a heart that I wrapped in bright red floss.

You can find the chipboard I used for this project, and a wonderful selection of DecoArt products, in the Tando Creative Retail Store. We'd love to see your creativity! Share your work with us in Tando's Creative Zone on Facebook.

Anything Goes - Mini Heart Canvas

Hi friends! Dana here today sharing the 3x3 canvas I created for the Anything Goes theme this week. This mini canvas was the perfect size to display the Hearts and Arthur Numbers from the Tando Mini Range. I was able to alter this canvas quickly, but this piece was still made with love! I like using these small canvases for gift toppers instead of a bow.

You can find the pieces I used for this canvas in the Tando Creative Retail Store! We'd love to see what you create for our Anything Goes challenge! To be in with a chance of winning some great Tando goodies of your choice, please make a piece based on our weekly themes and link your project, not just your blog, using the inlinkz tool located at the top of the Tando Blog. You don't have to use any Tando product, but, if you do, you will be entered into the draw twice! There are no limits to how many times you enter, however, we do request that you only enter your piece for 5 challenges. We look forward to seeing your creations!

Anything Goes - Secret Door ATC

Hi Tando fans! Dana here today sharing an ATC for the Anything Goes theme this week. I had some fun with a Small Straight Edged Arch, an Artist Trading Card, small elements from the Tando Mini Range, and some digital collage images and papers to create this Valentine's Day Card for my sweetheart.

I covered the front of the Artist Trading Card with the Huntsman patterned paper from the Gecko Galz Ever After Digital Paper Pack. I then covered a Small Straight Edged Arch with a door from the Gecko Galz Behind Door #1 Digital College Sheet. I carefully cut a door opening between the base arch and the arch frame so that the door can open, revealing a secret message.

I used a piece of clip art from the new Gecko Galz Valentine Wishes Digital Collage Set. I made a "door knob" out of a Heart Button from the Buttons Grab Bag and a girl from the Mini People Set. I colored both pieces with acrylic paint, glued them together, and then glued them to the front of the door as a small handle.

I finished this card with a black pen and some gold dimensional paint.

You can find the pieces I used for this card and more in the Tando Creative Retail Store! We'd love to see what you create for our Anything Goes! To be in with a chance of winning some great Tando goodies of your choice, please make a piece based on our weekly themes and link your project, not just your blog, using the inlinkz tool located at the top of the Tando Blog. Proverbs, Sayings and Quotes - ATC Set

Hi Tando fans!  Dana here today sharing a set of ATCs for the Proverbs, Sayings and Quotes theme this week. I chose to use some love proverbs and and set of my favorite stamps for this series of cards. I love the strength of the Tando ATCs!  I applied several layers of mediums and plenty of heat to these cards and they didn't peel or warp.

I chose hearts from the Grab Bag of Hearts and the Buttons Grab Bag and colored them with bright red ink for a pop of color.
